This appears to have been re-varnished and re-wrapped at some point during it's long lifetime. The line-guide wraps appear as original to us. This rod is rated for 15-30 lb line and 3/4- 2 oz weight The other is an Okuma Celilo Extra Heavy duty 9' casting rod(rated at 20-40 lb line and 1-5 oz weight. Condition is good on both rods. Each has been used trolling for Salmon on the West Coast. Each is 100% original with no repairs anywhere. Each rod has light soiling on the cork handles from use. Vintage Big Game Rod & Tycoon Fin-Nor Miami Roller Guide & Penn Detachable Butt
This is a rare Vintage Big Game Custom Made Trolling Rod with Vintage Tycoon Fin-Nor Miami Aluminum Roller Guides and Heavy Duty Penn Reels Aluminum Detachable Rod Butt. The rod measures 7 foot 7 1/2 inches in overall length. And 5 foot 11 inches with the butt detached. The Penn Reels Heavy Duty butt measures 22 7/8 inches long. The Tycoon Fin-Nor Miami aluminum roller guides are sizes 0, 2, 3, 4, and 5. The roller tip is an Aftco roller tip size 26. All the roller guides are in very good condition, except for roller guide#1 is missing 1 big roller insert. SEE PHOTOS TO SEE THIS. I would rate this rod from 80 LB- 130 LB. The rod is in good vintage condition. The foam foregrip is in good condition and dark brown in color. Model A, E&U, United Tractors, John Deere, Massey Harris Combine as well as some early International trucks and Caterpillar. The reflectors are undented with some tarnish.
