This is a quite superb Mitchell 300C which is my favourite of all 300 series. Mainly due to it's reliabilty and superb gears. Not dogged by the usual problems of wear in the classic Mithchell 300. Due to the change of positioning of pinion gear-I rate these hi gher than most Mitchell Browning 300 series too-I have to sell"as needs must" And I have collected quite a few of these. Mitchell Garcia 624 Sea fishing Reel Presented in really nice condition. This reel has certainly been used but by the looks of things maybe once and it has obviously been stored well. Functions as expected. The plastic has very little yellowing and the chrome is all very good. Included is the manual and a box with a title card(marked 600ap for some reason) The reel is loaded with braided line of unknown capacity but it's strong. There is also a steel trace with large hook. This is an olympic spinning reel olympic no 2400 Gear ration 3.35:1 line capacity 200 yds lb test mono weight 11.5 oz recommended for junior all round fishing strong die cast body. I no nothing about fishing. I dont know if this reel is working. The line inside moves freely so as if you were casting out it would wind out as it should. But trying to wind the handle around as if to reel in. It only moves half way around then stops. It does have a lock on so when you move this it wont wind at all but if that is off it is only moving half way around. I dont know if that makes any sence. It might be broken I dont no. This fishing reel comes with the instructions which shows you how to take it apart and put it back together. It has gone a bit rust and the paint has started to bubble.
