Shimano Stradic FG 4000 Spinning Reels LOT of 3 with spare spools
You are bidding on THREE older model Shimano Stradic FG 4000 spinning reels in USED condition. Reels are right or left hand retrieve and all come with a spare spool. The two Reels pictured together have been used and have some paint worn off and a few scrapes and scuffs but they have been well maintained over the years and are in excellent working conditon. The other reel's anti-reverse is slipping and has a slightly bent bail. The bail doesn't effect the performance of the reel but the anti-reverse issue obviously does. Vintage Shimano TwinPower 4000 GTX Rare Fishing Reel
Up for sale is a Classic Twinpower 4000 GTX made in Japan. This reel dates back to the early 90's and sports some of Shimano's early designs such as the first edition of AEROWRAP line Oscillation(worm gear) and also shocked to see a double spool bearing design. I recently opened this reel up and removed all the old wax like grease and hand polished each individual part then given a coat of fresh precision blue grease. This reel does not have the Super Stopper ARB bearing as it was before its time but a very reliable anti reverse Dog design which the clicking can be both heard and felt while reeling the reel. The reel also dates back before they corrected the slight wobble as all old reels have had but its still way ahead of its time. Also this reel boasts over 20lbs of drag(8kg) which is huge for an early 90's spinning reel. This ... moreis a very rare Japanese TwinPower and new back then was almost $300. It would make a great collectors reel or can go back on the water tomorrow on a vintage rod. Very rare. Sekai 4000 track frame set. This frame was made in Seattle in the early 80s. It has been fully restored by Quiros custom frames out of boston ma. The frame has been stripped completely down to metal and then re-painted and badged to its original state. Frame has only been mocked up since the restoration. Never been crashed. Rides awesome! Frame has minor imperfections in the surface of the metal by BB shell and bottom side of down tube which are completely cosmetic and not at all structural. This is due to the surface rust that was completely removed after media blasting. Frame has since been treated with frame saver and a corrosion preventer Frame size is 55cm CTC. The reel comes preloaded with used 20lb Power Pro line in good condition that should not need to be replaced for a long time. The reel also comes with the original spare spool which has never been used. The box also has the protective cover and original paper work with diagrams for this reel. The reel works great but it has some cosmetic issues with the handle. It appears that the paint has come off right around the reel seat. The rest of the reel looks good with only minor wear from normal use. If you haver any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Up for auction is a nice vintage Shimano custom GT 4000 reel. The reel is in perfect working condition. The bail opens and closes eailsy. The drage loosens and tightens as well. The anti reverse also work perfectly on this reel. Cosmetically there is some corrosion on the handle and the base of the bail as you can see in the pictures.
