Up for auction is this very nice vintage Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 7000 reel. Very hard to find in this condition. This reel appears to have never been used. It has no chips,cracks,scratches,dings and the chrome and paint are shiney and clean has when new. The only flaw I can see is that the decal on one side plate is a little wrinkled(you can see this in the picture)This comes with the original box,papers and tube of oil,but the wrench and extra parts are missing. It is super smooth running and all fuctions are working as they should.The number on the foot reads:81-4 86-87.Check out the pictures,this is one of the nicest ones you'll come across.A great addition to your collection or just use it.Thanks!

Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 7000 C 7000C Levelwind Fishing Reel Black 8602-1 Sweden. We are offering a Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 7000C levelwind baitcasting fishing reel made in Sweden in 1986. The reel has been completely torn down cleaned and lubed. Checked out and re-assembled and is ready to fish. Even though we cleaned the reel the picture you see with the main gear is the way it was when we opened it. The reel has never seen saltwater this is one of the cleanest reels this size we have opened that is used that was this clean. No corrosion, no rust, it looks new inside of the reel. The bearings were a little dry but are super smooth, the drags are smooth and the clicker and bait alarm work perfect. The outside shows wear so please look at the close-up pictures for the cosmetic condition of the reel. Remember the newer 7000I reels have bushings ... morenot bearings which all right when they are new but as time goes on the bushing start wearing because they are brass and then your spool starts having a fine wobble or even rubs on the frame and can cause damage to your reel. With bearings they get a little noisy just give them a couple drops of oil and you are ready to go! Just not too much oil otherwise it will slow the bearings down! We guarantee the reel to be as described and that it is ready to fish! A great reel for light saltwater use or for fishing the bigger species in big water like Chinook, Muskie and big Stripers. Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 7000 Levelwind Fishing Reel RED France Upgraded Abec 7. We have a lightly used Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 7000 levelwind fishing reel with a foot number 91 05 06 Made in France. The reel is super clean inside and out and has been upgraded with 2 Abec 7 bearings and runs super smooth. What a diffence the 2 bearing on the spool shafts make. The reel is now a 7000C by all counts. We have also included the original sleeves taken out. The Abec 7 bearings are shielded bearings which make them much more water resistant and we have added one drop of oil to each bearing. The cosmetics of the reel are great but please look at the close-up pictures for the cosmetic condition. The reel is a high speed 7000 and will hold 270yds. of 20lb. test or 230 yds. of 30lb. test monofilament line. The reel comes with the line out alarm and the ... morebait alarm on the side of the left side plate. A great reel for fishing for large freshwater fish or medium saltwater fish.
