This is a used Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 5600C4 baitcasting reel. The C4 means that it has four bearings. The reel is in fantastic condition as you can see from the pictures. There are just a very few small nicks. I have tested the reel on the bench and everything appears to funtion correctly. It cranks smooth. The spool spins freely, and the drag feels strong. That said, this is a used reel and is sold as-is. Thanks for looking.

2 Different Vintage Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 5000 C Reel Lot 5000C Baitcaster
Hello you are bidding on a lot of two different Abu Ambassaduer baitcasting reels. Both the reel work fine but both are missing end cap for the middle of the handle and one may not have the correct screw(the small handled reel) The small handle reel. The handle wobbles and is not on tight so it may not be the correct screw. Both reels are used and have wear on them, both are made in Sweden and I they are also accompanied with a small box with some parts, I am not sure if they go to the reels but I am including it. I know the wrench fits the nut on one of the reels. Please ask any questions you may have, shipping is 10.00. Thanks

This a custom ported and anodized Abu Garcia wiffle spool. It will fit all 5000 sized reels that use ultra-cast(separate spool and axle) I take a OEM Abu Garcia wiffle spool and added extra porting to reduce the weight 15% over stock then have them re-anodized satin black. They look good and perform even better! For those that don't know. Reducing the rotating mass(the weight of the spool and fishing line together) increases casting performance. It looks like someone scratched(or carved) Sp 2-73 above the numbers 2003 on the reel foot. There are a few minor scratches and smudges. Also with this is an extra spool and some parts in a plastic tube. Also included with this is an instruction booklet. The wooden box is dovetailed on the ends and has small closure and an emblem with the words KUNGI_HOVLEVERANTOR. There is a small sticker on the bottom with the words Made In Sweden. This rod and reel is part of a large collection that was paired up and displayed as a rod and reel together. The Abu garcia 5000 reel is in good working condition with all functions working. The reel does show normal wear with use. The reel seat number is 116847. The reel handle is a older after market Ranger Power Handle. The rod is a Shakespeare Purist 6' 1 piece Wonderod with Carboloy guides. The rod is in good condition with the guides and wrapping all in good condition. The reel handle is also in good condition. Both the rod and reel look well together and appear to have been well taken care of. These two together will make a nice addition to a collection or they are ready to be taken fishing. This model ABU Garcia 5000c black color baitcasting reel was made in Sweden and is in remarkable condition. I doubt that it was used more than a couple of times. The serial number is a very low number and it reads 037200 which is a very low by today's standards. There are no condition issues and the reel does work well. The original partial box must have been stored in the garage along with the leather bag. The tool kit, and oil bottle because all of the stitching is bad on the leather case and the box shows slight signs of being in a damp environment. The original Owners Manual is in great condition! The reel must have been kept inside the home, and is estate fresh from here in NW Ohio. One of the nicest 5000c reels I have ever owned.
