Most of the scratches are tiny and not noticeable at regular view(my opinion) The reel works great. Smooth spinning, drag works, push button is firm and locks in place and re-engages easily when handle is turned, clicker is loud when engaged. Super nice reel for your collection or use! These darker sideplates really lool super especially against the bright chrome of the cage. This classic Swedish Ambassadeur has been used but not abused. Showing some marks consistent with a fishing reel that is 39 years old, but with just a bit of rash to the top of the reel and the bottom it is in overall good condition and internally excellent. The reel shows the early ball type levelwind guide and non locking plate type single counter balance handle. The reel comes with black case, instruction catalogue and 1972 schematic.
