This is a vintage Durham insurance policy box. A vintage item given with an insurance policy, compliments of Penn Mutual. Box is steel, about 11.5" X 5.5" X 3.5" deep including top. Enameled exterior with handle on one end, also includes a Sesamee combination lock on the front. Combination is currently set at"000. The original handle and a key is taped inside the box. not sure what the key is for. Nice condition. Probably never used. A solid box, handy to have around, ready to use. I cannot stress how solid this box is. Take a look at the pictures and decide. Look closely at the photo's of the inside. I can send more pictures if needed. For sale we have a vintage Plano Model# 3215N 2 Sided Tackle Box with Scientific Anglers Tippet and Cortland Fishing Lines. There's also a package of Eagle Claw Hooks. I only noticed that one of the reel lines had been used. All the others are new in their packages so there's a lot of money in fishing line here. The box measures 10 1/4 inches long not including the handle. 7 inches wide and 3 inches high. There are 3 dividers that you can stick in where you want to plus a white spongy thing that came with the box. It's in good condition, the hinges work great and there's no problem with the box. Both sides of this tackle box are filled with tackle. Some very vintage. Some names on tackle are Steelie. Hot Shot, Macadoo, Heddon Sonic, Jorgensen, Mepps.
