Normally it is found only on the handle, this handle does not look replaced, the tag might have come off. This tackle box is in very good used condition. There are no cracks or dents. The latches& hinges work properly. There are some scratches on 1 side, we'll call that side the back, see pictures. There are some dirt spots on the top, these do not show up very good in the pictures, but they are there. The styrofoam bottom is dirty/stained, I did not try cleaning it. Vintage UMCO 1000RS 7 Tray 71 Comprtmnt Green Fishing Tackle Box Needs Restore
Vintage UMCO 1000RS green tackle box. The exterior shell is in very good condition and the latches are solid. The interior has 7 trays with 70 compartments plus a full basement for reels and things. Some of the black liners compartments have suffered worm burns and are dirty in need of a good cleaning. The 48 small compartments are dirty but in good shape. The burns are in the larger compartments where plastic worms were kept. This would be a nice tackle box to restore or line the compartments with green felt to display some of your vintage wood lures. Vintage UMCO Corporation Aluminum Fly Fishing Tie Box Model 10 Two Sided (2)
This is one of two UMCO aluminum fly boxes that I will be listing. If you would like both. I'll happily combine shipping. This is a model 10 fly box. It is two sided. With a plastic tray in the center. Both lids close snugly. There are no major dents or dings in the aluminum, but one on the plastic tray compartments has"melt" holes. The previous owner had them covered with tape, but I removed it for pictures. There are signs of use such as light scratching and soiling. I have rinsed it off, but did not polish or give it a deep cleaning. The box measures approx. 9 1/8 x 4 1/4 x 1 1/4.

VINTAGE UMCO 850 U FISHING TACKLE BOX W/LURES
For sale is a vintage UMCO 850 U fishing tackle box with lures. Part of the contents are 3 lures in original boxes- Creek Chub. Kwik Fish and Flat Fish. Others include jitterbug, Creek Chub, injured minnow and a host of other fishing items. I believe I counted 22 lures alone. The contents have a bit of a smell to them, although not horrible.
