It measures approx. 17"L x 8"W x 10"T, has four trays with 21 compartments and lots of storage in the bottom. All the trays have plastic liners that have some holes, but the box exterior is in great shape. The box has the original hang tag and the locking mechanism works. The key is included. The original owner's Social Security number is scratched off the edge of one of the trays. Please inspect photos closely for color and condition. Here is a vintage metal tackle box. The top of the box is marked QUALITY Liberty Steel Chest Corporation ROCHESTER. N.Y. No 1876 MADE IN U.S.A. The tackle box measures about 18 1/2" by 7 1/2" by 7" tall. This two metal trays on the inside; the top tray has 7-2 1/2" compartments and the 2nd tray has 2-2 1/2" compartments and one 12 1/4" This has a ring mounted to the front to rest your fishing rod in. The tackle box has a Loc-Wel safety catch. After the latch is unbuckled, you have to pull up on it to release the lid. Get this handle tacklebox! This is used. It has scratches. Paint loss and dings. The mixed contents are also on offer as they came with the box. The box is compact in size and has a long leather strap. It has an unusual way of being opened. First the lid is lifted and then the front panel folds out in order to reveal the interior. The interior has a top shelf that is designed to hold 5 cylinder shaped containers. These containers are plastic and have black Bakelite lids. Under the shelf there is a section that can house whatever needs to be stored. The vintage contents of the box include ... morethe following: Lead weights/ shot in assorted shapes and sizes with original shot cloth bag. Fishing hooks. Rubber like round floats. Old corks. Old newspaper cut out with information on fishing. Printed booklet. The booklet is“The Anglers’ Handbook 1971-72 by The Victorian Piscatorial Association. Though the book dates to the early seventies– I think that the box is much. Much older than that. Judging by the style of image on the front of the box and the design of the box itself including the leather strap– it looks to be from about the late 1940’s– 50’s. CONDITION The box itself is in structurally very good order. There are no splits. Dings, etc. The clear plastic containers with the Bakelite lids are also in good order and they too are free from splits. Cracks, etc. The catch on the box works well and is in good functioning order The leather strap has life left in it and is fine. The vintage contents of the box appear to be fine as well. Old Metal Fishing Lure Tackle Box, Vintage 2 Tray Cantilever Tool Chest
This is an antique metal tackle box in good used condition. The measurements are approximately 19" long by 6-7/8" wide by 7-1/4" high. Inside it has two metal cantilever trays and a large storage area on the bottom. It has a few small dents. Scratches and blemishes but overall is in pretty decent shape for a tackle box of this age. All of the latches and trays work properly. It has gray crinkle/ crackle paint. I think it may be a Heddon box but I can't find the makers name anywhere on the box. The last picture shown is what's left of the makers name but I can't make out what it says. If you're familiar with old tackle boxes, maybe you know what it says. It looks like a triangular design with the the point of the triangle facing down and red letters on it.

this is a nice old tackle box. In very good shape except it needs a good cleaning. hingles and everything work great. I always leave the cleaning of old items up to the buyer. No dents. Just light scratches from minimal use. It was sitting in a celler for many years. needs a new home!

Vintage heavy duty metal two tray fishing tackle tool box round corners VERYGOOD
VINTAGE 2-TRAY FISHING TACKLE BOX.very good condition This vintage heavy duty 2-tray pressed steel tackle box is in very good condition. The inside and outside have been lightly surface cleaned. It opens and closes as it should. One small dent on lid top edge left of handle. The textured painted finish shows marks from use and there is some surface rust on the outside. But the rust is less on the inside. It is still a very solid box overall, as no areas are even close to rusting through. The metal handle works and is not cracked. Box m easures about 16" long x 7" deep x 6 3/8" tall plus the handle. No key. But latch closes. Good luck bidding!

Top of the tackle box reads OLD PAL LITITZ. PA. MADE IN USA. Original price tag reads GIBSON $3.91.Measures 13 1/2 inches across x 6 1/2 inches wide by 4 1/2 inches high. No rust or dents. Stored very well. Few very minor scratches which I try to show in the last three photos. Perfect collector's condition. Features a single plastic pull out tray. Nice and simple. Rare to find in this good of condition and with original price tag. As a reference. The last photo is a scan of a newspaper article from Twin Falls Idaho in 1967 showing this Old Pal Tackle Box SW5111 for sale at a store named Super Buttrey Stores.

On the inside, the tray for smaller items and plenty of space on the bottom for larger stuff. This does need a goos cleaning. There are some rust spots, wear and minor dents. This metal tackle box opens to three drawers on one side and two on the other side. It feature moveable metal divider bars to create your own size sections to hold your lures, hooks and weights. This generous sized box measures 16 ¾ inches by 8 inches and 10 inches tall when closed. Folded out the drawers measure 10 inches on the three-section side and 7 inches on the two section side. The box weighs 8 lb 6 oz. As you can see there is some picking in the finish on the outside and rust on the bottom on the inside. Vintage Antique Fly Fishing Tackle Box Metal Outside Wood Inside.
Up for bid is an old fishing tackle box. The box has no marks as to who the maker was and was owned by a ww1 vet who was still fishing into the late 50's" I have his old fishing licence up for auction on here right now" so this could be from a broad time period. I even thought he may have put the wood inside and made it a tackle box. The outside is a Green Metal and it has some rust and paint loss on the top. Note the 4 screws on the top of the box that hold the wood into the top of the box. The bottom and the sides have some paint scrapes from being used. Inside the top of the box is lined with wood 3 pieces of cork for hooks or flys. There is also a small wood piece that your leaders could slide down behind to hold them into place. The bottom is also wood with six compartments. The dividers are glued into place. There is some ... morelight dirt wear on the inside. Vintage Stamped Metal Fishing Tackle or Tool box
Here's a great little vintage stamped metal fishing tackle box. It has a locking latch mechanism. But I don't have the key. It is unlocked and the latch mechanism works ok. Box is in good shape-but I believe it was originally a green color unless the primer was green-tinted. The black paint is in poor condition, but overall this little box is in great condition. The interior partitions on the cantilever sections are removable, and only one or two are missing. Please see pictures for best description.
