Bought this reel at a garage sale years ago and was surprised when I removed the old line. It has the most corroded spool I have ever seen. But I put new line on it and the reel turned out to be my favorite. Smooth drag. Full gears, good bearings, and no internal damage from salt. The spools are very thick material. So I doubt heavy line will break the spool. Shipped within 24 hours.

Wow.just in time for Christmas. This auction is offering up two early and rare fishing related items from the State of Michigan. Included are the following: One 1924 Michigan Non resident Special Hook& Line fishing license. This license was issued to a 23 year man from Mansfield Ohio and has the fishing laws for that season issued on the back. Over-all condition is very good to excellent. The second item included in the auction is a 1928 Michigan Fishing laws digest that was issued by the Department of Conservation. The law digest has a total of 30 pages of information pertaining to the 28 fishing season. The cover has some minor paper loss to the lower right corner and a small stain on the top of the back but otherwise is in excellent condition. Coxe designed and built big game reel made by Joe Coxe in Los Angeles California. This extremely well made big game reel was the finest in its day. The Abercrombie& Fitch catalog sold both Edward and Julius Vom Hofe reels along with Coxe reels in their 1930 salt water fishing catalog and the prices were as follows: Julius Vom Hofe 9/0 reel- $ 95.00 Edward Vom Hofe 9/0 reel- $ 95.00 J. A. Coxe 9/0 reel- $15 0.00 The price of the Coxe reel not only reflected its high quality but also is the reason you just don't see many of them around today. They were built far stronger then the Vom Hofe reels and the gearing is far superior. This nice example is in very good+ condition. The reel has aged nicely and has a warm ... morepatina. The foot has been bent so that the reel sits up higher on the rod. JAPANESE VINTAGE THICK WOODEN KAYA SHOGI CHESS GAME BOARD RICH AGED PATINA
I picked up this well played vintage shogi board at an auction in Japan last year. It is very similar in style to the board used in the game of go( goban) however it is smaller and has fewer grid spaces than the go board. This shogiban(shogi board) is made with one solid 5 5/8" 14.3 cm) thick top slab of solid kaiya wood. Check out the enlarged pictures which show the tight growth rings. It dates back to the early 1900's(0ver 100 years old) This board has four nicely carved 3 1/2" 9 cm) for a total height of 9 1/8" 23.5 cm) It has been well played yet well loved and has an rich glowing patina that years of loving use has provided. The top grid is well defined and very playable with lines slightly raised on the playing surface. The sides show tight growth rings in this solid slab of wood with absolutely no checks or cracks ... moreon this well cured time aged slab of kaya. Aside from some very minor scuffs and a few dings(see pictures 9& 10) but none deeper than 1/16" and a deep rich aged patina this board is in very fine condition. A comparable shogi board in Japan today would cost in excess of $2.000 dollars but lacks the character of this vintage piece. This well cured. Aged board is sure to stand the test of time for another century. It measures 14" by 12 3/4" top(36 x 33 cm) and stands 9 1/8" high(23.5 cm) and weighs in at a hefty 16 pounds. This well loved board has a fine warm patina that you will enjoy playing on for a lifetime. RARE VINTAGE PATD 1925 W.A. TRATSCH ARCADE GAME PISTOL GUN SHOOTING GALLERY
For auction is a great vintage arcade game gun or pistol. This is a pistol that is Patent date 1925 by the W.A. Tratsch Mfg Co. The pistol looks to be in good used condition with obvious wear like scratches. Finish wear, light corrosion, etc, see photos. The one side is loose completely, meaning there are 4 screws that hold the side plate on, none of the screws are present. The opposite side is missing 1 screw. The gun is made of heavy steel, and you can see the inner workings on photo 4. You can manually reset the trigger and it gives 10 shots before relocking. The gun measures 8 5/8 inches long by 5 1/8 inches tall. This is a great piece for restoring that antique arcade game. PAYMENT IS DUE NO LONGER THAN 5 DAYS AFTER THE AUCTION.
