Up for sale is my G Loomis SUR 1142S Surf Series 9' 1" Rod. If you are looking at this rod than you know the quality of the loomis product so I'm not going to preach it. Rod was used about 5 or 6 times after I bought it 10 yrs ago. I had a work accident and had to give up surf fishing and this rod has been collecting dust in my basement. Also with the rod is a Diawa 3500C SSll fishing reel. Consider the reel a gift, you are buying the rod, just so happens the reel is attached to it. The Rod is 9' 1" although it says 9' 6" on the Rod. I had the guys at the sportsman center shorten the butt 5" because every time I would cast it, it would hit me in the ribs or my side every time. If you have a shipping tube that will fit this rod then there is a possibility that this item can be shipped. You would have to ... moreship me the tube then I would ship it back with the rod. In this case I would not be shipping the reel of corse but your not buying the reel anyway so I guess it really wouldn't make a difference. In this case please contact me to make arrangements. G LOOMIS 10' 6" 2 pc Surf Rod SUR1266C
I hate to part with this wonderful rod. But have only used it twice and I am moving. This is a 10'6" surf rod, casting model: SUR 1266C. It responds well to loading and throwing baits from 1 to 5 ounces using line weights of 15-40 lb. test. This is not a"heaver" rod although it is listed as a"Heavy" model, but is well suited for slinging lures and throwing chunks with up to 5 ounces of weight. Over that weight and it will not perform optimally. It has a superb sandpapery feeling grip which is wrapped in rubber.which is unique to G Loomis. An Ultra sensitive and pleasurable rod to have in your hands.

Very hard to find Used Custom built G-Loomis fishing rod. SU1448-2 2pc 12' slate finish, line 25-40 lb, lure 6-12 oz, tip 10.0, butt 1.045, moderate action, medium/heavy power. The rod has been rebuilt to like new condition. It does show some signs of use. It has Fuji SIC gun smoke titanium coated cast guides that are in great condition, the guides do show some signs of use) 8 total, guides sizes are#30, 25, 20, and 5- 16, It has a matching HD tip top#16-11, that have all been rewrapped, It has a new 10" butt wrap Metallic blue with metallic white, nylon black and Hologram orange Double Diamond pattern, the rear handle and fore grip have been rewrapped with new cork, the rear handle measures 23" from butt to the bottom of reel seat, the fore grip measures 8" also has Drum decal, the#24 Fuji reel seat silver hood was not ... morereplaced and is in great condition, the blank halves measure butt half 4' 10" and the top half measures 7' 6 1/4" If you have any questions please ask.
