One still has the tags on it and the plastic on the handle. There are absolutely no signs that either rod has ever been used and they are in excellent condition. However. They are supposed to come with two tips per rod, a medium and a medium heavy. I only have one tip for each. One rod has the medium tip and the other rod has the medium heavy tip.There may be a scratch or two from handling, but I looked them over thoroughly and could not find any. This lot contains 25 broken saltwater fishing rods which were to Bass Pro Shops. The pictures are 2 different parts of the lot. Pictures#1-7 are of the first 13 rods. Pictures#8-12 are for the other 12 rods. All of these rods are damaged/broken and sold as is. There are very nice guides and handles on many of these rods. There are quite a few nice handles, and some rods that could simply be retipped and fished with. There are boat rods, surf rods, spinning, and casting rods. Quite a few of the rods are Offshore Angler brand, there are some Penn, Ugly Stik, and some others. Up for auction are 3 used Ande Stand up fishing trolling rods 20-50lb test class. These have the locking butt. Gold gimbals, roller eyes. They have normal wear and tear for the use they have seen. I had okuma 30w reels that I used strickly for trolling. Where I fish trolling is an option but not the only fishing I have done. One is a 3-piece Tidemaster 7'6" medium-heavy power fast action casting rod. One is a 1-piece Tidemaster 7' heavy power fast action spinning rod and the last is a 7'6" Tidemaster medium power fast action spinning rod. That last one could be a Wild River 7'6" MF but I'm not entirely sure, its pretty flexible, almost doesn't seem like a Tidemaster. The first two described are both a couple years old and the last is about 8 years old. 11) The 3-piece is in great condition. Just missing the 5th guide from the top, otherwise a great travel Tidemaster. The 7' HF is also in great condition overall except its missing the tip guide and the bottom of the handle is missing something ... morelike 4 inches or so, otherwise great rod too. Lastly, the 7'6" MF is also in very good condition outside of missing the top 4-5 guides, everything else great. These rods were originally factory seconds from St. Croix and the warranties have expired. St. Croix partially removes the label. Just above the handle at the base of the blank to void the warranty. The amount removed varies rod to rod and is purely cosmetic. The removal process does not damage the rod at all, the blank is still structurally sound. These rods have pulled many a bull red on the sand or rocks all old vintage fiberglass blanks but I cant remember the brands. Seems like one is a kunan and the other an old shakespeare or southbend? There is a crack in the blank of the top piece about 5" long which starts about 2" above the ferrule. The finish is also flaking off of the ferrule. These things are repairable.
