This wonderful mid-century modern hanging plate features a man with pipe enjoying a day of fly fishing on the fly and net fishing on the fjord. The plaque measures 7” across the widest point with rounded corners and slightly turned up sides. It was produced by the Stavangerflint Company and is signed on the back with the STAVANGERFLINT LOGO- NORWAY- SILK SCREEN AND PAINTED. 20 traditional trout flies and 4 salmon flies are depicted on this poster issued by Sportsman Cigarettes. 17" x 11" Very attractive and in very good condition but. In examining it more carefully, I noticed that along the left edge of the image there is a lighter strip and a partial darker one between the image proper and the margin(please see first photo) Not sure if this means that the poster is in fact a photocopy or whether the poster was just made that way. In any event, I've set a low start price(assuming a reproduction) and leave it up to the viewers to decide. Also, the small round spot at the top of the poster is part of the printing(not a stain) and there is a small tack hole in it. Shipping will be in a tube due to the relatively large size of the poster.

Vintage 8 Glasses & Coasters, Small Pitcher with Hand Painted Flies Fly Fishing
Here is a beautiful vintage set of 8 Whiskey Glasses& Coasters and a Small Water Pitcher with Hand Painted Fly Fishing Flies on all eight glasses and two the pitcher. The pitcher is 7 3/4" tall and the glasses are a little over 3" tall. The coasters are lucite. Are 3 1/2" across and each one has a hand tied fly entombed in the center. Some of the paint on the glasses is wearing a little but they are all still in fine condition. They are all different patterns and are named in script below each fly. The artist signed them as well, the name looks like'Caruis' to me. There are also two lucite holders for the eight coasters. There is not a nick, chip or scratch on any of the pieces. Vintage canvas and leather bag. Really good quality. Made in USA, but maker unknown. I took this bag to the Orvis store in Houston to see if they could ID the maker. While they admired the quality, they did not recognize the label or logo(if it is a logo) The bag is in nice shape-touch of wear to edges of the leather straps, but I could find no other flaws of any significance. There are no holes, stains, or disagreeable odors. The bag measures approximately 17 inches wide by about 14 inches tall. There are two zippered pockets in front, a large front pouch(in which there is another zippered compartment and a small kind of soft foam-lined pocket, and behind these two, a pouch) There's a pocket on each side of the bag. ESTATE FIND! This vintage hardly used' FISHMASTER MFG. COMPANY PORTLAND OKLAHOMA' fishing float tube. This was hanging in the rafters of an old shed looks like it was used a time or two and hung up to dry and forgot about. Not sure of the age but I can remember them in the 1970's. It is made of heavy duty durable treated canvas and inside the canvas cover is a 20 inch truck tire tube. It is marked on the tag model 220. It measures 36 inches across. Weight is around 12 pounds. Condition is very good to excellent for age, no rips, zipper works like it should, just a bit of dirt and dust from hanging in the shed all these years. I did not try to wash it because it still has the original tags on it and did not want to damage them. I think it would clean right up the first time in the water, but looks good just the way it is. Vintage Fly Fishing Vest 11 Pocket Canvas Adjustable Snap Front to 46" Chest
This vintage fly fishing vest has 7 main pockets with two pockets divided into 3 smaller pockets. There is a large pocket on the back of vest measuring 9.5" by 8.5" with a snap closure flap. Not pictured. All corners of pockets have reinforced stitching where the fabric is folded in. There are 2 front closure straps are adjustable with snap fasteners. All snaps are in great condition with no visible corrosion. Shoulder straps are made of a cotton webbed banding and are adjustable with snap at end of strap for easy removal and wear. Shoulder straps are 24" long total. so they with slide adjustment can be up to 22" drop. Back measure is 10.5" from top to bottom hem. Front length is 15.5" from shoulder strap snap to bottom hem. All snaps are intact with no corrosion and no tears. There is some minor wear on edges ... moreof shoulder straps. Front closure straps are made of canvas duck material. Pockets on right side have tiny wear holes. Very minor, top small pocket flaps binding on right is torn away from fabric and fabric is frayed, could be repaired.
