SIMMS fly fishing G3 GoreTex guide Large/reg waders w/ SIMMS sz12 wading boots
This is a great used fly fishing set-up. Included in the sale is a pair of SIMMS G3 guide waders in size large/regular 11-12 bootie and a pair of SIMMS lace up wading boots in size 12. Both function just fine. There is a VERY VERY slow leak in the right bootie that will result in a damp( not soaking wet) sock after about 4 hrs of river time. SIMMS has a lifetime warranty on these waders but have not been sent in for repair. Buyer could send them in over the offseason for factory repair at low cost. Only reason I'm selling is I went up 1 size to Large/Long 12-13 bootie and size 13 boots for warmer winter fishing. I'll start them low and let them go from there! These Orvis felt bottom anti-slip fishing boots have a lot of life left in them. They have signs of use but are still in good usable condition. They are size 10. A few of the threads in the side seam on one boot is frayed but it looks like it is double stitched so it is not coming apart at the seam. Be sure to see all my photos. 11 11.5 12 13 Patagonia stockingfoot fly fishing wading boots waders hip pants
Patagonia Wading Boots- Size 13(but run small- see below) These boots are identical to the one's I recently listed. With one exception: They don't have cleats and are felt only(no provisions for cleats/studs) And so. Often, when buying wading boots you want to size up one to accomodate neoprene booties. While these boots are a size 13, I would recommend them for a guy with a street shoe size of 11 or 11.5, but not someone who just sneaks into a size 12 street shoe; otherwise, these boots are terrific. These boots are true to width and fit my more-than-average wide-fitting feet fine; however, I am a not a super-wide. just a hair wider than average, perhaps, in the fore-foot, below the toes. Another piece of helpful/important advice. My feet are precisely 11" from heel to top of big toe measuring from the bottom of the foot. And ... morethese are a tad snug in the toe for me. My neoprene booties are just under 12" from heel to toe measuring on the bottoms. If your bare feet are 10.75" or less and your wader's neoprene booties are comfortably snug without excess bootie, you should find these boots comfortable. Please measure your feet before bidding. And. Feel free to ask questions- someone is going to get a real nice, stable, supportive and LIGHT pair of wading boots, here- they also drain nicely. They are also a fantastic color- grey and charcoal black. These boots are in very good condition and have barely seen use- no issues of rot functionality in any way. They have been washed after use and dried appropriately. I am sad to say goodbye to these. These would be my primary boot if I didn't have such a large Big toe. Here are a pair of simple straight-on traditional felt(stictched on and not glued) Riverwalker boots are light to begin with, but in the felt version their light weight is astounding. Each boot weighs on my postal scale a mere 1.7 pounds- compare that to your Korkers and Simms, or your old leather Hodgman's! Seriously, 1.7 lbs per boot for a size 13- really? Yes, really. And, step out of the water and they drain. QUICK! And so. Often, when buying wading boots you want to size up one to accomodate neoprene booties. That is precisely what I would recommend with these. While these boots are a size 13, I would recommend ... morethem for a guy with a street shoe size of 12 or 12.5 for layering flexibility. That said, if you wear a street shoe 13 you should be good with these, as well, if only using during the summer, if your waders or hippers have no excess neoprene bootie or you never intend to layer socks underneath. These boots are true to width and fit my more-than-average wide-fitting feet fine; however, I am a not a super-wide. just a hair wider than average, perhaps, in the fore-foot, below the toes. Another piece of helpful/important advice. My feet are precisely 11 1/8" from heel to top of big toe measuring from the bottom of the foot. My neoprene booties are just under 12" from heel to toe measuring on the bottoms. Size 13 is the size Riverwalker I wear(I wear a size 12 running shoe) This size(13) gives me some wiggle room for layering during the winter months. Some guys like no summer wiggle room and want a tight-fitting boot- not me. Please measure your feet before bidding and buy according to your preference. And. Hodgemans Womens Size 8 Fly Fishing Felt Bottom Boots
Used and in excellent shape. I wore them myself fly fishing in P.A. Felt soles are a must here because the streams have a lot of rocks and the soles keep you from slipping and falling. Fly fishing for steelhead and salmon is great fun! These are size 8 but I take a 7 1/2 shoe size and with the waders on they are a tight fit but I did use them for a few years until I got older and my feet got wider. I would say these would be ideal if size 6.5 to 7.
