Roughly 9 X 11 1/4 inch format with 118 pages. There were only 500 of these hardback 1st Editions done. It's essentially a Very Good copy showing some edgewear. The Dust Jacket is complete but also shows some wear and has some short tears repaired and a touch of soiling. Overall it's a pretty nice copy of a very tough to find book. 1910 1ST EDITION "FLY FISHING IN WONDERLAND" BY KLA-HOW-YA KLAHOWYA ANTIQUE BOOK
Authentic and original. 1st edition of the much sought after book that ALMOST NEVER comes up for sale. This is a scarce and rare find and is sort of the holy grail of fly fishing books, as it were. It is NOT a children's book, but more a"River Runs Through It" type of thoughtful reflection on the state of West Yellowstone and its fishery over 100 years ago. Sweet reading that takes you back to a time when things moved at the speed of life. It is time for it to stop sitting on my old bookshelf and I'm ready to send it back out into the world. As you can see in the photo, the volume, which is totally intact, has come loose from the cover, but the flap is still there, so restoring it should be no problem. I leave it to your book binder to make this minor, but important, repair. Cover shows some wear(more photos available) in ... morethe corners, but overall the book is in decent shape, with the exception of the binding, with the pages being mostly clean and crisp. Good luck to whoever has been looking for this all these years. I do not know how many were printed, but one rarely, if ever, sees one for sale. The only three I have seen sold online went for just under $800 on Ebay, then $1350 and $1550 approximately, through other online auction houses. Really!
