In a recent review of my rod inventory I realized I've got a ridiculous number of rods particularly in the 7-10wt range so am looking to find them good homes where they'll hopefully see some action. The photos will hopefully evidence the exceptional condition the rod is in. The photos of the cork grip in particular will show how well maintained the rod is. That being said I was able to identify one small imperfection. A small scratch, that prevents me from saying the rod's condition is"excellent" The photo make this surface scratch look way worse than it is and I doubt a buyer would even identify this imperfection upon receipt but I feel honesty of condition should be the foundation of the eBay experience. The rod tube and sock are also in exceptional condition. This rod is of course perfect stripers, bluefish, snook, big reds, baby tarpon, small dorado, etc. Here's what the Loomis website says about this rod line. In excellent condition. The photos speak for the rod condition. I have used it, but it has been well taken care of. At the end of each season I clean the cork and rest of the rod, and wax the actual rod with Simonize. Compete with Loomis rod sock(original) in hard zipper case(original) Note the zipper pull in the 5th photo-part of the pull broke off, but there is still enough to hold to zip it open or closed. The zipper works just fine. for a 5(or 6) weight line, 9 feet long, 4 pieces. This is a fast rod, and will cast large streamers and bass bugs, as well as a 7 wt. tippet with a small fly.
