There is an additional pouch on the back of the packet made of mesh. There are side mesh pockets that look about the size of 1 liter water bottles. The pack has a waste strap and a chest strap. There are two detachable front chest packs(~9" x 6"They both have a large pocket for gear and a front pocket with a foam pad for flies. This pack is in great shape. The only reason that I know that it is used is because I found a container of insect repellant. There are 3 hook holes in one of the foam pads. th.
