Here we have for your consideration is this antique or early vintage fisherman's landing net. Great for fly fishing as a mater of fact I have used it this spawning season! It is made of a bamboo frame with a wicker ratan wrap& has a very strong netting that goes from green to brownish olive to black! It has landed everything from large 32" steelhead trout to the little rock bass& smallies that I always catch in the summer. I got a new net just recently& want to pass this on to a collector as it will just get beat up with me. I think it is at least 50 years old It was my great grandfathers. I have had it hanging in my kitchen& it makes a nice decor item as well as being a well made working net! No holes or breaks in the extremely strong netting. Orvis Fly Fishing vest for Trout, Steelhead and Salmon size medium
This vest has been stored in the closet for a few years. I got it for my wife but she never really needed to use it. It's in really great shape with no tears or stains. The fabric seems almost new. I did have a couple of zingers attached on the two top chest pockets so there are a couple of perforations in the flaps from the pins. Other than that it is as new. All zippers work perfectly. It has a chest velcro flap pocket. Two large zippered pockets and three mesh tippet pockets on each side of the front of the vest. There is one inside pocket and a large back storage space accessed by a large zipper on either side.Knit collar and back mesh panel as well as a hard'D; loop for hanging or attaching a landing net. This particular model is the hard to find TN-15 Deluxe Trout Net. There are a few TN-17s available. But the more compact TN-15 is a bit harder to find. The wood has aged into a pleasant mellow light oak tone. This has a comfortable feel in the hand. This will be great back in a stream or on display as decor in a trophy room. Condition: The green net is in great shape. No rips, tears, holes or repairs. The wood appears to be in good shape, not great but better than fair. There are ware marks from use, some dings and scrapes and some old adhesive is left on the upper part of the hand grip on one side… it appears it will come off with some goo-gone, but I will leave that to the new owner. There are two front compartments for your fly boxes and each has attachments for various tools and nippers. One side is missing an attachment. The backpack has one large. It is about 23 3/4" long by 15 1/4" net opening by widest 10" The wood handle reads Ed Cumings Inc. Flint. Mich. The center piece in the wood handle is raised on one side as it is a little loose. Could be left as is for décor or glued if you want but it is not falling out. The wood has wear to it no breaks but it has seen use. The actual net has some breaks as can be seen in the pictures. VINTAGE WALKER WOOD WOODEN TROUT NET FLY FISHING W/ WRAPPED HANDLE
This vintage"Walker" wooden trout net with a wrapped handle is in good used condition with some light scuffs and scratches on the wood-there are also a couple of places where the wood has come unglued and there are thin gaps. The name"Walker" is on both sides and both have spots of fading/wear off. The wrapped handle(seems like leather) is in very good shape with no tears or gaps. The netting is solidly in place and there is one large hole(about 2" diameter) in the top half of the net. The rest of the net looks great. The lanyard is in good shape as well with one light stain. The whole thing measures 23" long and 10 5/8" wide at the widest point.The photos show the condition so have a look. Email any questions.

Watermark Chest Pack Fly Fishing Large Capacity Steelhead Trout Bass Cheap!
Up for auction here is a nice Watermark chest pack. It has LARGE compartments on the front and back. With a bunch of zipper compartments and dividers. Plenty of room for multiple boxes, lunch, accessories and more. It will fit a hydration bladder as I had one in it for a while. I used a Platypus 1.5L bladder and ran the tube up the straps) I really like this pack but I went to a sling pack from Orvis. Be for-warned: You can detect a slight odor of pipe smoke on this pack as I smoke a pipe when I fish. IMHO though it is not very noticeable. Besides pipe smoke goes well with fly fishing.
