Antique fly fishing Wading landing net bamboo frame strong netting Trout stream
Here we have for your consideration is this antique or early vintage fisherman's landing net. Great for fly fishing as a mater of fact I have used it this spawning season! It is made of a bamboo frame with a wicker ratan wrap& has a very strong netting that goes from green to brownish olive to black! It has landed everything from large 32" steelhead trout to the little rock bass& smallies that I always catch in the summer. I got a new net just recently& want to pass this on to a collector as it will just get beat up with me. I think it is at least 50 years old It was my great grandfathers. I have had it hanging in my kitchen& it makes a nice decor item as well as being a well made working net! No holes or breaks in the extremely strong netting. I think my asking price is very fair considering the sentimental attachment ... morehowever I would love to hear your offers! Old L. L. Bean Fly Fishing Net Adjustable w/ Canvas Case Super Condition
From my uncle’s estate is this old L. L. Bean fly fishing net in super condition. It comes in a canvas case that is 24” long x 3 ½” wide and has the original made by L. L. Bean Freeport. Me label. The net is also marked L. L. Bean on the frame that swings out to be 12” wide and 16” long. The cotton net that 22” deep and still in usable condition. You can screw one handle with the rubber grip to make it 20” long great for wading or screw on the 20”extension. Great to use in your canoe or kayak. The frames are metal and the grip handle is rubber. The overall condition is used but it still is in great shape for such an old item. Shipping weight is 2 pounds. Check out my other fishing lots. Vintage Wood South Bend No. TN-15 Deluxe Trout Fly Fishing Hand Landing Net We have a great old laminated wood trout net made by the South Bend Company. This particular model is the hard to find TN-15 Deluxe Trout Net. There are a few TN-17s available. But the more compact TN-15 is a bit harder to find. The wood has aged into a pleasant mellow light oak tone. This has a comfortable feel in the hand. This will be great back in a stream or on display as decor in a trophy room. Condition: The green net is in great shape. No rips, tears, holes or repairs. The wood appears to be in good shape, not great but better than fair. There are ware marks from use, some dings and scrapes and some old adhesive is left on the upper part of the hand grip on one side… it appears it will come off with some goo-gone, but I will leave that to the new owner. This net is unmarked. Measures 8 1/2" x 13 1/2" net measurements)and has mesh that has 2 or 3 good mends. It is an adequate net for a kid or a beginning fisherman.

FLY FISHING TROUT LANDING NET WOODEN WITH MAGNETIC HOLDER. Net was made for husband and he used it for many years. Name and address are imprinted on the handle, there are no markings or name other than owners name, it seems to be in very good condition with the exception of one loop being broken at the handle, measures 20 3/4 inches in length and about 7 1/4 inches in width at widest point and is very light weight, all attachments of the net appear to be tight and in good condition, there is an elastic line with a magnetic holder attached(I don't know the technical name) Thanks for Looking.

Net was carried maybe a half dozen times and remains sturdy and clean. Excellent+ Condition- carried on a few trips. Never really used.
