Vintage Gen A Lure electric lure propeller
This lure while being retrieved in the water. Would create electricity, thus lighting a light inside the lure, while the tiny propeller would spin. Very cool concept. This is in great shape. I've never used this lure so I cannot tell you if the light would come on. This lure has 2 treble hooks. Very different type of lure and would fit very well in your collection. Up for auction is"Slab O' Minnow" No.2 hand carved out of Dymondwood by me Phillip Cates. These rough N tumble lures are just right for toothy predators. They are also good for trout fishing in rocky water ways. These lures have a aerodynamic shape and weight that allows for a long cast. This lure is three inches long and weighs 1/4oz. I rigged this bait with a pair of size 4 Matzuo treble hooks and as you can see. The rear hook has been dressed with natural buck tail. I have 4 Bomber fishing lures. They have never been used and are in the original boxes with paperwork. I am not a fishing lure collector and I don’t claim to be. You are bidding on a Tennessee Shad Lure sealed in it's original package. It is handmade from balsa wood. There were less than 5k made. The president and vice president were Lonnie Warwick and Roy Winston Linebackers for the Minnesota Vikings. They bought the rights from Boots Anderson. They owned the company for appx. 3 years in the early 70's. Lonnie Warwick to this day is a tournament fisherman. I spoke with him on the phone. He was not clear about exact dates. He advised less than 5.000 were made. He believed the rights expired then were picked up much later by someone else. The lure is a very nice gold body with a black back and two black dots on the belly. The square lip is marked"Tennessee Shad" with a registered mark. The paint has some crazing from poor storage. Heddon Flap-Tail Lure Glass Eyes 2 Piece Hardware in Dace Color
I will be out of town from the 8th of February to the 11th of February. I will need to receive your payment by the morning of the 7th at the latest or I will not be able to ship the item until I return on the 12th of February. This auction is for a vintage Heddon Flap Tail lure in Dace color. I am calling this lure a flap-tail even though it is the same size as the flap-tail jr I have listed because I can not see jr on the belly markings. It has glass eyes and 2 piece hardware. The left eye appears to have a crack and the right eye is fine. It is in good condition with crazing.Small scratches and dings. It does have significant paint loss on the right side of the face. The hardware is in good condition with some corrosion. Please check out the pictures as they are a very big part of the description!
