This is what I believe to be a good looking Vintage Antique Makinen Holi-Comet fishing lure. It is about 3-3/4" long. And is a tuff color.The glare in these pics do this plug no justice. I feel that this lure is in unfished condition, but please use the pictures to determine condition of this lure for yourself. I attempt to describe my lures as I see with them. My understanding is that these lures were manufactured from about 1945(some sources say 1940) up until around 1951 when the company was bought out by Heddon. The original two-piece cardboard box is included with the fishing lure. The box measures 5 and 1/4 inches long by just a hair under 2 inches wide. And is an 1 and 1/8th inches in depth. I will be listing quite a few empty boxes as well as old vintage fishing lures still in their original box that were found in this vintage steel"Outing" tackle box acquired from an estate sale. CONDITION: much better than just average" as found" condition" the box is not perfect. Yet very clean, solid, and crisp.
