Antique Al Foss Red Eyed Little Egypt in Original Red TIN w/Frog Paper Ad -dn
For sale is a vintage Al Foss Little Egypt fishing lure with it's original tin box. Included are also ads for the Frog lure and the Jazz Wiggler. The papers are a bit worn at the creases and the wiggler is torn at one crease. The Little Egypt appears to be in as-new condition. No corrosion or rust. Note that the tin box has the Little Egypt price stamps to tell us that this is the original& matching box for this lure. An excellent find.

Overall length 3-3/8" Both glass eyes show general aging with some nicks. No cracks or hairlines just some small micro nicks in both eyes. This has a chip on the top in front of the eyes! See top front of lure. General use and soiling is noted for the lure. There are no other cracks or chips in the lure. TIN BOX: The box is in excellent and solid condition. The lid fits perfectly! THE BUCKTAIL IS ABOUT 5" LONG AND THE ORIENTAL WIGGLER IS ABOUT 4" LONG ITSELF, BRIGHT COLORS, NO RUST AND VERY OLD IT'S SCREWED TOGETHER INSTEAD OF RIVETED, EVEN THE EYE OF THE HOOK, HAS GLASS EYES, AND MARKED PAT APR 30 18 ON BOTH AND I ASSUME THAT'S 1918 OF COURSE.
