Vintage Rosegard Salmon Plug in Original Box Box Reads: Blue Back. Size 6 This plus is in pretty good condition as the paint still is solid. Hooks have caused limited damage with a few scrapes and one dent on the side. There is a little cracking on the belly. The hooks have rust on them as this plug has been used. The front has a bright red Shovel-Nose at the'slice' there is a flange of the cut that projects forward at the top of the slice. must affect the way the lure moves in the water? The wood is fine- no cracks. there are a few small'creases' Probably made by curious/hungry fish, but the hand painted/varnish seal has not been broken. The entire plug has a rich shine over the pearly paint. There are inset large glass yellow eyes with large black pupils on both sides. They are clear and bulgy- like in a real fish. The 2 hooks are triple-barbed. The hardware to hold the leader. And hooks and tail are all intact. The string that connects them is just fine. MARTIN is written in red on the ... moreunderside.
