This auction includes the HEDDON'S DOWAGIAC"Surface" wood lure carefully packaged for the winner. MARKINGS: The dive lip is stamped: HEDDON'S DOWAGIAC. No other markings were found! LURE CONDITION: Measures aprox. 3-1/2" long. This one is dated as being made sometime between 1915 to 1934 based on the L-Rig hook hardware used. Note this ... moreone has the L-Rig near the collar but the tail hook is mounted using the screw eye and small washer method. The one-piece short Stolley loop was not used on this particular version. Lure is in pretty good shape considering the age. Note this has scattered varnish loss as seen by the whiter specks. This does NOT have a lot of nicks or impressions. There's scattered soiling throughout along with some raised soil specks near the tail. NO large hooks nicks found. The double hooks are tarnished as is the dive lip collar! Vintage Heddon Dowagiac 150 Minnows And Near Surface Wiggler Fishing Lures Beate
Up for your consideration are a couple of Heddon 150 minnows in rough shape in crackleback. One has been painted over with brown paint. They have considerable amount of paint loss and chips. One prop is broken. The near surface wiggler has been painted over white. Looks like the original color was bar perch. Glass eyes seem to be intact and in nice shape. Great lures for repaint or an example of the lures until you could upgrade. Being sold as is with no refunds. I ship in the United States only. This is a Vintage Old Wood Heddon Dowagiac 210 Surface Fishing Lure. It is in nice used condition. See the pictures and judge condition for yourself. Heddon 210 Surface Lure Fishing Wood Vintage Old Antique Dowagiac Blue Head GE
Up for sale is this Wooden 210 Surface fishing lure made by Heddon out of Dowagiac. Michigan. It was introduced in the eary 1920's and is Series number 210. The lure is 3.50" long, has glass eyes, the lure has Two-piece hardware, and the color of the lure is White with Blue Head. The lure is marked on the Belly. Overall, I would rate this lure in Good shape. There is minor paint crazing, discoloration near the tail, and a large, but light dent under the lure name, a few pointers, and a scratch under the left eye. CIRCA 1920 WOODEN HEDDON DOWAGIAC 210 SURFACE MINNOW... NR!!
This is the classic 1920 Heddon Dowagiac Minnow Red Head- White Body No Eye Version. This is wonderful old lure in great vintage condition. It shows it's age through paint crazing which is to be expected but overall very very nice. See pictures for better detail. Shipping cost is for lower 48 states only.
