Canon Sport-Troll Manual Downrigger w/ Wire. Counter GOOD USED WORKING CONDITION! This manual downrigger is in good used condition and ready to go to work. The clutch seems fine and the counter is working. It has a 37” boom arm– measured from the forward point of the housing to the tip. The counter is on the end of the boom. I had forgotten about it in a move here until I started cleaning out my storage unit a few days ago. I live in New Mexico now and I just don’t have a use for it anymore. I couldn’t find the deck mounting plate for it so I suspect it may have stayed with the boat when it was sold. Sorry about that! I’ve seen several deck plates for a reasonable price here on eBay. Though. The funny thing is that this is the second downrigger I’ve found without a plate. Please see the pictures for a more complete description and don’t hesitate ... moreto ask questions or for more pictures if you can’t see something. I’m happy to help. They have line counters and have wire on them but I'm not sure how much. They have bases that attach permanntly and then the downriggers slide off the bases. You may need to change the setup slightly depending on your boat. They are used so don't expect mint. They show wear but are not damaged and are working properly and are ready to fish but I have not checked the braided line on the reels to see what condition it is in. This is used and in good condition as you see in the pictures but does have some small scuf/scratches from use. This has a fiberglass 20 1/2" boom or from the center of the reel to the tip of the boom is about 21 1/2" On the side of the downrigger as you see in pictures 4. There is a reel lock to hold the reel from turning. On the other side is the tension drag nut(center of the reel)for lowering speed and tension drag in case you snag something. Very good condition and works excellent. I am unemployed so selling some items off. The counter is set negative 2 feet as when mounted on my boat it is 2 feet to waterline(I am a bit of a perfectionist) You can take one screw off and zero counter or adjust to your boat. I see this model is going on Ebay for upwards of $100 recently. I'll start the bid at $50 and charge actual UPS shipping. Hopefully some one will get a deal. I've had one negative feedback in the thousands of transactions on Ebay(high end speaker that had multiple ohm and specific amplifier requirements) which the buyer claimed one speaker was bad- I had tested prior to ship.
