Wille Fishing Planer Boards with 58" Dual Skee Mast / Reels
This had been installed on fishing boat we purchased. The aluminum plate with the two brass screws was mounted to the deck and the two brass screws allow attachment of the Dual Skee Mast aluminum pole with the two reels. The planer boards are each about 28" x 6" One says"Port" and the other says"Starboard" One planer board has a little chip out of the corner. I have never fished with planer boards or have any idea how they work. I included some articles in the pictures I found on the internet. I think from what I could find out the mfg. Wille of Brookfield Wi. Was purchased at some point by bigjon.com. On the mast I don't see a name on the mast but on the pulleys they are stamped BIG JON. I don't know if the mast itself is a Big Jon or just the pulleys. I would assume if the pulleys are Big Jon. The complete unit is but use your own jugment. The total height of the mast is 41-1/2 inches. It is used but still in good condition. The knobs that you tighten down for the brake on the reels work properly. You might need to get some different mounting bolts if the ones pictured don't work for you. This is a good working mast. The boards are commercial boards made of light-weight wood. The previous owner painted his boat's name on them. You could paint over the name. Each individual board measures 29-1/4 inches by 7-1/4 ... moreinches by 3/4 of an inch thick. The boards do have some wear and chips on them but still have plenty of life left in them. Basically a nice used planer board set up here that won't break the bank. I'll invoice you for USPS shipping. If FEDEX is cheaper. They usually are, I'll ship FEDEX and refund the difference. BIG JON DUAL MANUAL PLANER MAST/ PAIR WALKER HI VISIBILITY COLLAPSIBLE BOARDS
Very nice condition dual Big Jon planer mast. Mast is one piece. 5 ft 1" tall, and has a solid welded base as seen in pictures. Line, snap swivels, and handles are in good condition as well. No broken or missing parts. I believe the boards are Walkers but I'm not 100% sure so please keep that in mind when bidding. There is no identifying marks on them. The boards are 28" long and 8" wide. When folded they are 35 1/2" in length. They fold up for easy storage. No tools required. There is a very small corner broke off on one of the boards as shown in pics. They are a high visibility with some fading. I will ship same day or next day to lower 48 states after payment. For sale is on pair of Riviera Dual Trolling Planer Board s. The boards are in excellent condition and are completely ready to fish with. The Riviera Dual Planer Boards are ballasted so the nose is slightly raised to cut through the waves easier and have a 3 position tow point to allow you to adapt to different water conditions instantly. To store. Simply fold the outside board forward. Each board can be used on either port or starboard. The planer boards have a 3 tow point positions that can be used by moving the split ring. The towline height off of the water and the distance away from the boat will determine which position will work the best on your boat. Normally the front hole is for higher speeds(3+mph) the middle hole is for normal speeds(1 ½ to 3 mph) and the back hole is reserved for slow speeds(under 1 ½ mph)
