The downriggers are equipped with dual rod holders, line counters and 3 foot booms. One downrigger has 40 feet of wire and the other has 187 feet of wire. Lot of 2 - Older Pair of Walker Electric Downriggers - Rod Holders and mounts
Nice pair of older Walker electric downriggers. Newer wire on both. Rod holders attached. Upper mounts included but I do not have lower portion. Both units work well and are strong. One has a small crack in the housing and has a touchy switch. The switch can be easily replaced for around $20 but it never bothered me enough to fix it. Normal wear and blemishes you would expect on this vintage but otherwise a great pair of well built downriggers ready to go fishing.

Here are a set of WORKING Big Jon electric downriggers. They have a longer boom. You can see the total length of the entire downrigger in one of the pictures. I recently purchased a boat that these were mounted on so I don't know much about them. I did connect a 12lb. cannon ball to each rigger and hit the switch up and down a few times. The motors are strong and worked like they should. One of them looks like it may have been worked on by the mounting base due to some ding marks in the picture. The springs on the line counters look fairly new as does the big swivels at the boom tips. One rigger has the normal steel cable and the other has a coated cable which I believe would be for a depth/temp sensor unit. There also was a Big Jon auto stop on the boat but was not attached to either rigger. I'll throw that in too. These are not ... morenew downriggers. They have some scratches. Dings, and everything is not"like new" perfect but they work as they should to my and the previous owner's knowledge. On Feb-27-13 at 08:32:13 PST. Up for auction for the last time are these older awesome Penn electric downriggers. All 4 have 4 foot booms. Swival matic bases, custom canvas covers, fully loaded with cable ready to fish. One has some epoxie near the base where someone tried to repair a small crack. I personally do not beleive it is damaged at all. All of them work exactly like they should, just a little dusty from sitting in the barn. There are 4 wire connectors so these can be wired right in your boat. These are awesome old downriggers and will no doubt give you years of service. There is also a small section of boom that goes with them, might be a top section? I'm not sure. This Auction offers a used Mag 20DT– I use the word USED very sparingly. This thing is in excellent condition and was only used a couple of times. It has the original cable. I did not run it out but I think it has the original amount of cable on the spool. I bench tested this thing and the up and down switch works well and the motor sounds great. It comes with the rear rod holder bracket and a sprocket in the holder to use a removable rod holder not included. Has a weight retriever installed on the right hand side. Heavy-duty telescopic boom extends from 24" to 35" 250-feet-per-minute retrieval rate and 20-lb. weight capacity. Three digit line counter works well and is also in excellent condition. If you look at my other auctions with related accessories such as the weights you will see that they show little to no use. 2 Cannon Mini-Mag Electric Downriggers With Swivel Bases
These units are several years old but have seen minimal use and have been stored indoors. They were just tested and work fine. Auction is for the 2 downriggers each with its own swivel base and spooled stainless steel line. There are no clips or other accessories available for sale. As you will notice in the pictures the wires will need new ends to attach them to a battery. Also seen in the pictures is a mild amount of rust/pitting on the booms. The units have a 3 digit depth counter on them. The shipping will cost around $45 to most places in the US as they are a bulky 30lb or so package. For bid are these used 2 Big Jon Electric Downriggers w/ Rod Holders SS-Line& Counter fishin fish. To first let you know.These are 12 volt. I do not know much about these but i will try and describe. These come from a friend of my husband. He had 4 of these and has downsized to a smaller 16ft boat so no longer use these. These are used as you see in the pictures, but good condition, they both have a rod holder, line counter and have Stainless Steel line, as you see in the pictures. In picture 8 you can see they flip up and lock in that position for travel. The Big Jon decals on the motors as you see in picture 9 show scuf scratches and some pealing from use. On the side of the motor area is the Up/Down switch and reset breakers. These have a 2 piece booms, and from the center of the reel to the end of the booms is about 4' I do see ... moresome small scuf scratches on the rod holders, mainly by the orange adjuster nuts for adjusting the angle of the rod holders. These have not been used in about 2 years but they did hook them up to the boat 12 volt and tested them and they do work. These are in good condition as you can see in the pictures and would be great to have for your fishing seasons. I will remove the rod holders and front boom section and pack them secure for shipping. Walker Electric Downriggers with 4ft booms (used)
I'm selling(2) two used Walker Electric Downriggers with 4 foot long booms. Both units are in excellent working condition. Included with the downriggers are(2) ten pound ball weights. 2) dual rod holders, one per each unit(2) wire harness, 2) swivel mounting plates that lock in(8) different positions, 2) wooden handles that screw into the cable spools to hand crank the units in the event of an electrical failure. Both units have new spools of 200ft cable mounted on them. The booms are threaded together in 3 sections and can have a section removed if you desire a shorter boom length. I purchased these units several years ago from a local Lake Ontario salmon fisherman and I do not have specifics on the motor size or gearing. I do know that they will pull a 10lb weight up from 80ft depths all day long with no trouble. They are the Lexan plastic bodies and One has the nose tag indicating the Mag 10A and the other one has come off. The factory states these are the 4 foot booms, but depending on where you measure from they differ. I measured from the mag 10 A logo by the spool to the end of the pulley and get roughly 44 inches. AND THE SEEM TO FUNCTION JUST FINE. THESE ARE WHAT I CALL A BARN SALE FIND! THEY HAVE BEEN STORED FOR YEARS WITH NO USE IN WHAT THE PREVIOUS OWNER SAYS HE CANT REMEMBER WHEN HE USED THEM LAST. SO THEY ARE A BIT DUSTY FROM STORAGE, AND ITS STILL WINTER HERE IN MICHIGAN AND I CANT USE MY HOSE TO CLEAN THEM OFF. EACH HAS A 4 FOOT SOLID ALUMINUM ARM. LINE COUNTER, RETRO EASE BALL RETRIEVER, AND I WILL BE INCLUDING 2 NEW ROD HOLDERS AND HAVE PUT NEW CIRCUIT BREAKER AND SWITH COVERS ON. THE MOTOR HOUSING IS IN VERY SOLID CONDITION FOR THE AGE. THEY ARE SPOOLED WITH CABLE.BUT IT MAY BE THE ORIGINAL SO SHOULD BE REPLACED. THE BODIES ARE WHITE CAST ALUMINUM. ... moreALSO INCLUDED ARE THE 2 BASIC BIG BLOCK MOUNTING BASES.
