After many successful years of manufacturing and distributing the release. They sold the business and the product was made in China. Several years ago, that company closed their doors and the product was no longer being manufactured. I fish with braided line for Salmon in the NW. And there is no other release on the market that works as well as the Pro Release for this kind of fishing. I decided to see if I could get my hands on the molds and bring the release back to the market and manufacture it in the USA. I worked with one of the original inventors and an entrepreneur in Indiana to redesign new and improved molds for the latest injection plastics technology. I did the necessary trademark and patent work, and added a number of improvements to make it smaller fish friendly(middle spring) while still maintaining the ability to fish for big fish, with big gear, using braided line, trolling deep, and fast. The Pro Release II is fully rigged and stack-able right out of the package. It's precisely adjustable and easy to convert from port to starboard configuration. I've sold hundreds of releases in my local market this summer/fall and received very good response from fishermen who have used the design for years. 4 Good Used 8 Ft. 6 In. Downrigger Fishing Rods 3 Are Daiwa & 1 Is Silstar
All are in Good Plus to Very Good. Used condition. Nothing wrong with any of them. All are two-piece rods and measure 8 ft. 6 in. when put together. The three Daiwas look a little grubby, especially on the cork handles. The handles are in very good condition and just need a good cleaning. No chunks missing or damage to those handles. The Silstar is a graphite rod with padded handles. Model No. 1200-86DR. No damage to the padding. On all rods, all parts such as the butt caps, handles, guides, wrappings, etc. are all original and secure. The logos on the blanks of the Daiwas have faded off, probably from the sun, weather and age. All three are identical. They’re older than the Silstar but are as strong as can be. You will find the Daiwa logos on the reel seat areas. The next owner might want to dab the ferrule areas on the Daiwas with a little ... moreoil so they fit together and come apart more easily. Hopefully. The photos will say the rest. I see no reason that the winning bidder will be disappointed. They will serve you well. All four rods sported Penn 210 Conventional reels that I removed and sold separately. They were used on Lakes Superior and Michigan. Use them in fresh or saltwater. I see no reason that one could mount heavy duty spinning type reels on these. That’s up to the next owner. Feel free to email with any questions or need for more photos. 2 Cannon Downriggers Mag 10 A 4' Fixed Boom Cannon Electric Downrigger
You are bidding on 2 Used Cannon Mag 10 A's. They are in great condition. They are not weathered or sun faded. They were just serviced and 2 new power cords. Up/down switches and boots were installed. The power cords do not have a quick disconnect. The are just straight cords at roughly 7" long with ring terminals installed. Both run up and down. They are the Lexan plastic bodies and One has the nose tag indicating the Mag 10A and the other one has come off. The factory states these are the 4 foot booms, but depending on where you measure from they differ. I measured from the mag 10 A logo by the spool to the end of the pulley and get roughly 44 inches. Plenty of stainless steel cable with fresh water use. THESE UNITS DO NOT HAVE SHORT STOP. The downriggers are very heavy and I will package them with extra cushion.
