Up for auction is a Cannon electric Downrigger with 28 inch boom. This downrigger was originally a Dual-Crank 6 but has had an electric conversion kit installed that turns it into a Magnum 10A. The downrigger includes dual rod holders. A new in package line stacker to accommodate two lines, a swivel mounting plate with mounting block, a new package of screws that hold the block to the base, the wiring end that attaches to the boat, and a kit that appears to be for repairing the end of the cable, but I am not sure, please see picture. Also included are all the parts that were removed during the conversion and the instructions for the conversion. The downrigger has a depth meter. Big Jon long arm downrigger. 48 inch boom with line counter. No mounting base and is missing crank-up handle. This model has the"brake" system on it, meaning about a half crank backward and the weight drops. Unit does pivot so booms are straight up when not using them. There is a single Big Jon rod holder on it. Was used on Lake Michigan and other fresh water lakes. It does need the handle so I can't test it to see if still fully functional. There is a decal on the side as you see in pictures 3& 5. That shows. Big Jon Inc, ph.616-223-4342. As you see in the pictures it has a rod holder, the boom is about 4ft and is fiberglass, it has a line counter as you see in picture 5 and line. The reel has a adjustable knob on the side as you see in picture 2, so you can set how fast the weight will drop or speed of the reel turn, it has a knob on the other side as you see in picture 5(upper left knob) push in to stop the reel from turning or pull out to turn the reel. In picture 6 you can see it flips up and locks by a knob on the side as you see in picture 5(lower knob) good to have when you ... moretrailer your boat for travel. This does have some scruf/scratches from use, on the rod holder has paint chipping. As you can see from the pictures this is in good condition except for what is mentioned above about the scuf/scratches and some paint chipping on the rod holder, this would be good to have for your fishing seasons. Vintage& classic. Little used PENN"FATHOM-MASTER 625" DOWNRIGGER UNIT, still in very good overall condition for angling use, composed of black resin frame& spool equipped with woven, stainless steel wire line, controlled by removable, red& black hand crank on right side, plus yellow dial line counter on left, and"take down" two-piece) gold anodized boom of approx. 48" OAL with rotating cable pully at top having an articulating head for cable control, and with wire line end pre-rigged for attachment of various weights, planers, lure combinations for either fresh or salt water angling. A slip-fit base on bottom of the unit is for attachment to any of PENN's proprietary base plates(standard or swiveling) of course. Condition is quite functional still, with NO cracks, dings, dents, broken/ missing parts, ... moreor other"problems" that we can see, though you will require the correct PENN base mount. And the stainless cable needs to be fully run out, visually checked, cleaned of crud spots, and then oiled& re-spooled we'd guess. but that's about it! Ready-to-go when you are, this PENN Fathom-Master 625 Downrigger has an actual length of about 55" OAL, and a width of approx. 8 1/2" from outside of the left plate at base mount, to opposite side at end of the red poly, 3 3/4" crank handle. This lightweight yet robust Easi-Troll Downrigger stands about 12 1/2" high off any flat surface of course. The bottom part of the telescoping arm is a little shiner the the rest because it had been repainted but looks good. The cable looks to be in excellant condition and the line depth counter works.
