This auction is for a Riviera Deep Troller Fishing Downrigger w/ Line Counter. Grand Rapids. Michigan US Pat 3614016. It is in fair condition with signs of use. Metal is scratched and scraped from use. No cracks. It is dusty/dirty from sitting in garage where it was aquired from a local sale. Line is intact, and I do not know how much is on the reel. Mounting screws and nuts are intact. Measures 11" x 20" x 12" I am not an expert on this, so what you see is what you get. Riviera Deep Troller DownRigger - Electric - Stainless Steel Cable - USA
Riviera Deep Troller Downrigger Electric- 12 Volt Comes with quite a bit of stainless steel cable some of which needs to be rewound on the reel. We did hook it up to a 12 volt system. Forward and reverse seem to work correctly. There is a small crack in the top of the red plastic casing. Some of the paint is worn off of the reel. It looks like it could use a good cleaning. It is fairly heavy at 10.25 pounds. Made by Riviera in Grand Rapids. MI This is an estate sale find so I can't tell you much more about it. All items are stored in a smoke-free environment. We have a pair of Riviera Brand Downriggers For Sale: This is a pair. One Right Hand& One Left Hand. Pictures 2-7 is the one, and 8-12 the other. They no longer have the depth counters. Please look at the pictures for condition. Condition: Both spools have stress cracks near the hub. Which seems to be common on these downriggers. Please refer to the photos. Even with the stress crack they should still give you trouble free use. On the one unit, the first few feet of stainless wire has some damage. It should be removed and the wire recrimped. Some slight rust on the wire, so it should be inspected, and maybe replaced. The Mounting Plates should be repainted. Length 19" Height 11" Width 5" A very descent pair of Downriggers. Riviera Manual Downrigger deep troller in great condition- please see photos! i unwound all the line and cleaned as best as possible by hand. all the line is good and the reel works great with the mechanism in good working order. plastic handle has a small crack in it but works fine. may need replacing after a few seasons or just glued with gorilla glue. thanks for viewing and Happy Fishing!
