And aluminum mounting surface, so they are lighter weight and more durable. They work very smooth and with a coat of paint on the aluminum parts they will look new! I did not go out of my way to try to remove the Uni-Troll mounting bases from these. As I did not want to damage anything. Just be aware that they have been on there for a long time, and might take some persuasion and PATIENCE to remove without issues. If you have Uni-Troll downriggers, you do not even need to bother. There may be a missing screw or wing nut in a couple places-look at pictures for every detail. Easily fixed at a home improvement store at minimal cost- a few bucks at most because they are stainless steel screws. The mount needs a cleaning-a little over spray of spray paint on the surface. And dirt in holes of the mount. A bit of elbow grease and 20 min. will square this away. Nice addition to any downrigger. This pair of 6" risers will help get your riggers up to the right height. These do swivel and lock in various positions to stagger your fishing rods. They come with an additional angled mounting bracket that is made of welded aluminum. If you don't need the bracket. It can be unbolted easily. These are fairly old risers, but they are built very heavy and could be cleaned up and polished. They were painted silver from the factory and the paint is worn and scratched. Functionally they work great. I got them with some riggers I bought and I simply don't have a use for them.
