Pair of Riviera Downrigger fishing reels with 150 feet of steel line on each and working depth counters. Aluminum frame. Surface mount or recess mount. 5 foot 8 inch" outbar with 9.5" spool. Nice used condition with one having one corner of the crank lock broken but this is not what stops the handle. It is just a thing to flip it up with your thumb. The other side is still there and easy to use. The t-locks for the spools are both working great. I have to take the long outbars out to ship and ship them separate or the package would be too large to ship so I will send you an invoice with actual shipping rate at end of the auction. The weight it is calculating now is for the downriggers only and I would guess you will need to add $12-14 more dollars for the poles shipping when it is all said and done. Up for auction are a pair of used Big Jon manual downriggers with counters. Rodholders and Big Jon releases at ball or weight. I have been doing some spring cleaning and no longer have a use for these. There is also stainless steel cable on each one, I am not sure of the amount. They are a little dusty as these have been in storage for years. I went to electric riggers. I measured the boom and it is approx. 2 feet in length. Rod holders are 10 1/2 inches in length. Little used CANNON"EASI-TROLL" DOWNRIGGER UNIT, still in very good overall condition for angling use, composed of hard, black resin body with black, reinforced& Cannon" imprinted spool equipped with woven, stainless steel wire line, controlled by black handled hand crank on right side, plus line counter, and solid fiberglass arm of 20" OAL with rotating cable pully at top having an articulating head for cable control, and with wire line rigged for attachment of various weight, planers, lure combinations for either fresh or salt water. A slip-fit base on bottom of the unit is for attachment to any of CANNONs proprietary base plates of course, and a Rod Holder has been added to the back of the unit on an alloy attachment.See Photos) Condition is quite functional still, with NO cracks, dings, dents, ... morebroken/ missing parts, or other"problems" that we can see. You will require only the correct CANNON base to be ready-to-go. Additionally. Though the wire cable looks fine, it probably needs to be run-out, checked visually, and cleaned before hard use we'd guess, after a season or two on the shelf. but that's about it! There is a decal on the side as you see in pictures 3& 5. That shows. Big Jon Inc, ph.616-223-4342. As you see in the pictures it has a rod holder, the boom is about 4ft and is fiberglass, it has a line counter as you see in picture 5 and line. The reel has a adjustable knob on the side as you see in picture 2, so you can set how fast the weight will drop or speed of the reel turn, it has a knob on the other side as you see in picture 5(upper left knob) push in to stop the reel from turning or pull out to turn the reel. In picture 6 you can see it flips up and locks by a knob on the side as you see in picture 5(lower knob) good to have when you ... moretrailer your boat for travel. This does have some scruf/scratches from use, on the rod holder has paint chipping. As you can see from the pictures this is in good condition except for what is mentioned above about the scuf/scratches and some paint chipping on the rod holder, this would be good to have for your fishing seasons. Good Used Walker Electric Downrigger-2 Ft Boom, Counter, Line & Dual Rod Holder
It’s been used and works just fine. I tested on a 12 Volt battery on a bench without a cannon ball and it runs fine in both directions. It comes with a 2 ft. adjustable boom. Twisted wire line(I believe it’s stainless) and dual adjustable rod holder. Note that someone dropped some crud onto it and it looks more like a slag. Maybe debris from cutting with a torch nearby. Actually, it looks like a plastic type slag. I’m sure that you can chip the slag off pretty easily. I was able to pull chunks off with my fingers. It also has a counter and it seemed to work fine when operating it but it’s at 964 when it should be at 0. Maybe you can re-set that. New counters are available at a reasonable price. It does not have a swivel base. The unit has some soil. Scuff marks and drippings of some more slag. I was able to chip a lot of that slag off but ... morea better job needs to be done. I also see a couple of tiny spots of slag on the stainless line and spool. I consider that to be insignificant. I don’t know what else to say other than I am sure that this will give you many seasons of good service even though it looks somewhat grubby in spots. Shipping weight is 15 lbs. Please see shipping calculator for actual postage cost for US sales. I guarantee you that if you are overcharged by $2 or more for shipping. I will refund that amount to you. 15 Offshore Cannon Ball Downrigger Planer Board Line Releases Walleye Trolling
Up for bid is a mid sized lot of pinch clip line releases. There are 15 releases with some attached loops and rings. I listed them as used as I got them at an estate sale but I believe these have never been used judging by their condition. They may have been around a while as a few show a little rust. I have very little knowledge of downrigger or planer board trolling so my description is based on a little experience. There appear to be two types. Most(14)are marked marked"Laurvick 715-394-767" The other is marked"Mueller Elect.Both types have black pads. I do not know whether they are light.Medium or heavy release but I squeezed all of them and they did open. I do not think they are adjustable release. Cabelas Electric Downrigger 12V Aluminum Housing Steel Braid line Custom Cannon?
Up for sale is a very nice electric downrigger. It has no markings except on the motor. The motor says delco remy. There is a Cabela's sticker on it. The housing is mainly aluminum and has a working depth counter on it along with lots of nice steel braid line. Also included is the rod that attaches to the downrigger. The base fits in a cannon tab lock gimbal mount which I have listed on another auction. Due to the nature of the item these two pieces will be shipped in 2 separate packages. This is an estate sale find and I can't test it as I have no way to plug in this type of cable. However. The reel was taped up nice to keep the line intact and everything looks well taken care of so I would guess it does work or why would someone take the effort? Per Wikipedia: A downrigger is a device used while fishing using the trolling method. Which places a lure at the desired depth. A downrigger consists of a three to six-foot horizontal pole which supports a cannonball(large weight) by a steel cable(generally stainless steel) A clip, also known as a"release" attaches a fishing line to the cannonball weight. The bait or lure is attached to the release. Please be sure to see the other sporting goods we have listed. FEATURES: This pair of downriggers was custom-made in a machine shop in Antioch. Illinois. They are very heavy-duty. The base plates and uprights are made of aluminum alloy. The base plates are 3/8" thick and the ... moreuprights are 1" thick. The 10" diameter crank pulleys are made of galvanized die-cast zinc. The pulleys are locked into place and released by a sliding 5/8" bolt. A 1/4" round 2" long stud is mounted onto the pulley providing a cranking mechanism. The 3' extension rods are made of cold-rolled steel. The smaller pulleys at the tips are made of high-density nylon. The pulley brackets swivel and are held in place with snap-ring closures. Both downriggers can be easily disassembled and any piece could be re-made at any machine shop. I am not sure what the tensile strength of the twisted stainless steel cable/wire is, but it is a substantial size. Both cables have a spring-clip for attaching the line to your weight. Also, there are three mounting holes on the outside surface of the uprights. They are in a triangular pattern. Whatever mounts to these holes is not included.
