This auction is for a Big Jon Clamp On Single Manual Planer/Teaser Reel w/ Line. This allows you to build your own planer! It is in fair unused condition. Has some dirt. And shows ware throughout. I do not know how much line is on it or what test it is. Most of them have 150ft of 135lb test line, but I am not sure if that is what is on this reel. It will clamp onto a mast/rail/ radar arch with 7/8 inch to 1 1/2 inch diameter. I will combine shipping. This is AS IS! What you see is what you get. Please view pics carefully. Mast is 5 feet tall with welded base.Set is used but in good condition. Newer 500 pound test tow lines. Only reason I am selling is because I upgraded to Electric. Set of 2 BIG JON MANUAL CLAMP-ON PLANER REELS
This is a SET that includes two(2) Big Jon planer reels. Used for one season. I made the mistake of pulling planer boards in water that was too rough and snapped one of the lines. My guess is that about 20-50 ft of line was lost on one reel, as well as the clip. The second reels has all of the line as well as the swivel clip. I will leave the line on both reels. Parts/assembly page as well as warranty page included. All parts included except the one missing swivel clip. These reels are 8" manual reels w/ adjustable disc clutch. Big Jon Planer Reels I believe this is a set of two Big Jon Planer Reels. I acquired this from a person who always enjoyed fishing and sailing so I have no idea what they are. What they do or how to use them. I also don't know how old they are. After a little searching, it looks as if this was part of a mast set. Each reel has a bunch of line and looks as if it could be clamped on some how by using the twist knobs on the side. This has been in storage for quite some time so it is very dirty and I tried to wash it some with water. The yellow line looks good underneath the top dirty brown layer. Other than"BIG JON" there are no model numbers or other identifying numbers to help describe these. I really hope someone can use these. If you have any questions regarding this item. Very nice condition dual Big Jon planer mast. Mast is one piece. 5 ft 1" tall, and has a solid welded base as seen in pictures. Line, snap swivels, and handles are in good condition as well. No broken or missing parts. I believe the boards are Walkers but I'm not 100% sure so please keep that in mind when bidding. There is no identifying marks on them. The boards are 28" long and 8" wide. When folded they are 35 1/2" in length. They fold up for easy storage. No tools required. There is a very small corner broke off on one of the boards as shown in pics. They are a high visibility with some fading. I will ship same day or next day to lower 48 states after payment.
