Had it for a number of years. Never used it. First season it took the ride with us every time. But the next spring it never got loaded on the boat and has sat in basement since. Penn Fathom Master 825 Electric Downrigger, No Reserve
This Auction is for a Penn Fathom Master 825 Electric Downrigger Everything works great. Flip the switch and it will return to the up position. Leaving your hands free to fight your lines, not retrieving your ball. I do not have the lower cable that hooks to the battery. It was chaffed and shorted without the downrigger attached. I would recommend cutting the end off and replacing it with a twist lock plug. There is some wire attached. But not much, I only use it for shallow balls(approx 25' I do not ship international. This offer is a PAIR of very clean Penn 600 Fathom Master downriggers. Each with 24" boom, 200 feet of stainless steel cable, swivel and clip exactly as pictured. These downriggers were used exclusively in fresh water on Lake Michigan near St. Joseph, MI. If you are not familiar with this downrigger, it works just like a fine Penn reel with a generous yellow drag control knob to let it down and a smooth operating crank to bring it up. A calibrated wheel dsiplays depth. These two reels seem to favor Steelhead and Kings. But they've also caught a few Lake Trout on slow days. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have. I don't have much need for them since I moved to Fort Worth. TX.

Penn 820ASM Swivelmatic adjustable base for Fathom-Master Downrigger
Penn 820ASM swiveling downrigger base. My grandfather owned a boat up until 15-20 years ago. And this came from his estate. I believe he purchased this as a spare, and just never used it. Includes all parts as shown in pictures, and the only signs of use are slight oxidation/discoloring on a single bronze washer. Everything else appears mint. PENN 600 Fathom Master Downrigger loaded with braid
Auction is for a Penn Phantom Master downrigger loaded with braid. Don't recall the pound test of the braid loaded it with braid to get rid of the hum of the wire while trolling at higher speed for tuna. Seem to recall it was 250-300# never failed with a large planner. Downrigger was used a couple of trips then by pal sold the boat. The mounting plate went with the boat. Has normal signs of use. All metal is like new, no pitting or corrosion. No fading of decals or depth gauge.
