Several years ago, that company closed their doors and the product was no longer being manufactured. I fish with braided line for Salmon in the NW. And there is no other release on the market that works as well as the Pro Release for this kind of fishing. I decided to see if I could get my hands on the molds and bring the release back to the market and manufacture it in the USA. I worked with one of the original inventors and an entrepreneur in Indiana to redesign new and improved molds for the latest injection plastics technology. I did the necessary trademark and patent work, and added a number of improvements to make it smaller fish friendly(middle spring) while still maintaining the ability to fish for big fish, with big gear, using braided line, trolling deep, and fast. The Pro Release II is fully rigged and stack-able right out of the package. It's precisely adjustable and easy to convert from port to starboard configuration. Up for auction are a pair of used Big Jon manual downriggers with counters. Rodholders and Big Jon releases at ball or weight. I have been doing some spring cleaning and no longer have a use for these. There is also stainless steel cable on each one, I am not sure of the amount. They are a little dusty as these have been in storage for years. I went to electric riggers. I measured the boom and it is approx. 2 feet in length. Rod holders are 10 1/2 inches in length. Here is a lot of 6 offshore releases and a bell. I think these may be used for downrigging or outrigging. But I am not sure, go with what you think. They all open up when you mash on them, some have more pressure than others. The swivels at the top may need replaced. They are also small. There is also a bell that I believe clips onto a fishing pole. All of these items may have imperfections, scratches, knicks, could be dirty, etc. Use the pictures to judge condition farther. They each weigh in at approximately 9 pounds 7 ounces. Each measures approximately 5 1/2 inches long and each has a black coated finish with scale reflectors on each side of the fins. Each has a line release attached to it.the releases are included in the lot. Please see photographs for exactly what you will receive. This pair will be shipped in a USPS Medium Priority Flat Rate Shipping Box in the U.S. and will ship internationally however international shipping is likely to be expensive due to the 21 pound shipping weight. Coated Downrigger Weight/Cannon Ball Probe Plus Line Releases Fishing Mueller
Up for consideration is this Mixed Lot of Downrigger-Fishing Cannonballs and Line Releases. Two older coated Probe cannonball-weights and 4 Mueller line releases. Good working condition with wear. Some of the coating on one cannonball as shown. Line releases work correctly but have some discoloration and surface rust on one. Cannon balls marked 10 and 12. I have placed them on a scale and one is 10 pounds 8 ounces and the other 13 pounds 11 ounces. Nice addition to your fishing gear. Please view the pictures as part of the description.
