CANNON ECONO RIGGER Very good overall condition with normal signs of wear from use or age. Trolling cable has been run out aprox 60ft off the spool and has several curls and some kinks in it. Most of this being in the first 30ft. Line counter works and also included is a 6# Cannon flash weight. Weight has some indents and flat spots from previous use. Nothing broken or damaged. Sorry Guys but I Am Not a Fisherman and I Don't Know A Lot about These Downrigger's but I Am Mechanically Inclined so Please Let Me Describe to You What I See about This Downrigger. First of All. Please Look at the Condition of the Paint. It Is in Need of a Paint Job. I Find This Downrigger to Be Working Quite Nicely. I Am Having an Issue with the Depth Counter. I Really Don't Know How to Reset It and Hate to Poke and Prod and Break Something so I Just Never Messed with the Depth Counter and I Am Unsure If It Is Working or Not. If this is important to you, please tell me how to reset it and I will post any comment to let you know what I find. No matter what it is as is. The wheel functions very sweetly, it has a break on it that seems to be working nicely. The poll is made out of fiberglass and looks good. You can take the poll ... moreoff of the frame. I think this would be a nice little downrigger for a small boat. I hope you can get the counter working but sorry the depth counter is as is as found. Other than that, it is working fine. I did not examine the cable. When I found this in my grandfather's work room. It was twisted up a bit. I saw a small kink on the cable. I don't think it will affect the operation of the tool but I did see a small kink about 3 feet up from the end. I did not examine the rest of the cable. It was wound tightly and should be okay but again I never examined and it is as is. The most important way to analyze what you will receive is to carefully look at all the pictures and read my description carefully. The pictures and my description are very accurate. Very good condition and works excellent. I am unemployed so selling some items off. The counter is set negative 2 feet as when mounted on my boat it is 2 feet to waterline(I am a bit of a perfectionist) You can take one screw off and zero counter or adjust to your boat. I see this model is going on Ebay for upwards of $100 recently. I'll start the bid at $50 and charge actual UPS shipping. Hopefully some one will get a deal.
