This is an old pair of lead fish-shaped downrigger boat weights. They have their original paint and show some wear and tear from years of use. I've had these for over 15 years and purchased these from a man who had them for years. He told me these were used for years on Lake Erie but I am unsure of the exact age of these weights. I weighed these on my scale and they both registered 9.4 pounds. They will ship in a medium flat-rate box. They measure 9-1/4" long x 4" wide x 3-1/2" tall not measuring the hooks. Two 25 lb Lead Downrigger Balls
I got these downrigger balls at a garage sale and have never personally used them. The person I got them from told me they're solid lead. I put a magnet on them and the magnet didn't stick so I assume they're solid lead. I put them on the scale as you can see in the pics and the two of them together weigh approx 45 lbs. So unless my scale is wrong it looks like they actually weigh around 22 1/2 lbs each. They're dirty and could use a good cleaning.
