For your consideration is this vintage cast iron mold to pour 50 lb lead downrigger weights. I calculated the volume of the cannon ball and found it to be 46.33 lb. In raised numbers on two sides is the number 50. The manufacturer is probably closer than I. It appears from information stamped on the mold that it was made by N. W. Lead Products. Auburn, Wash.
