In a recent review of my rod inventory I realized I've got a ridiculous number of rods particularly in the 7-10wt range so am looking to find them good homes where they'll hopefully see some action. The photos will hopefully evidence the exceptional condition the rod is in. The photos of the cork grip in particular will show how well maintained the rod is. That being said I was able to identify one small imperfection. A small scratch, that prevents me from saying the rod's condition is"excellent" The photo make this surface scratch look way worse than it is and I doubt a buyer would even identify this imperfection upon receipt but I feel honesty of condition should be the foundation of the eBay experience. The rod tube and sock are also in exceptional condition. This rod is of course perfect stripers, bluefish, snook, big reds, baby tarpon, small dorado, etc. Here's what the Loomis website says about this rod line. The following is from G Loomis' web site: MBR 844 C GLX, 7' B, 1, 12- 20, 1/4- 1, Fast, Heavy, $390.00, This has been our most popular jig rod over the years. It has plenty of power to fish all the big bass baits… soft plastics. Jigs, 1-ounce spinnerbaits and small swimbaits. It’s a great all around bass rod where brush, trees and vegetation force anglers to use heavy line and need extra power to be successful. GLX makes it ultra-light and ultra-sensitive. The"strength-to-weight" ratio for this rod is incredible! Note G Loomis MSRP of $390. New MBR 844C GLX rods sell for about $375.00. IMX or GL3's for about $250. This is my own rod. Not something I picked up at a flea market or garage sale. I am unable to get out in a boat to fish any more(really hate it) Although the rod is Used it has not been Abused. Wonderful bass ... morerod. Rod Handle is Model B in G Loomis handle chart(see the picture of Loomis handle chart) Not only a Great bass rod but also great for near shore saltwater fishing as well(Red's and Spec's i.e. Sea Trout) and freshwater hybrid bass. G-Loomis IMX CR 723 med-heavy 6' casting rod. Rated for 10-17# line and 1/4-3/4 oz lures. Cork is a little dirty from use but otherwise looks like new.
