This is an auction for part of a set of high end tournament fishing equipment. This equipment was all purchased new between November of 2009 and March of 2010. All the these items have been used extremely little. And several of the items are new and unused. Let me explain. In April of 2010 I tore my motor up on my boat and it was not repaired fully until July of that year. On the first trip out, I did not get out of the dock before the repair went south. So I lost use of my boat for all of 2010. In 2011 on the first trip out, my motor blew up and was not repaired until May. At that time I was so busy with other things in life that I just decided to sell my boat with intentions of buying another one. It sold immediately, and yes I did disclose the problems, but offered at a really good price much like the lot included herein. A year and a ... morehalf has passed and I have far to many other things to focus on other than purchasing a boat. Frankly, I think the prices have gotten out of control and I just cannot justify the purchase at this time, I have kids to try and keep up with. Daiwa Steez, STZ711HFBA, 7'1" H Used 3 times Excellent Condition
This auction is for a like new Daiwa Steez. STZ711HFBA. Heavy Action casting rod. The Steez rods are absolutely the ultimate in rod design. Everything about them from the blank, to the Air Beam reel seat, to the titanium framed SIC guides are the best of the best. This rod was taken out in my boat 3 times and I have right around 20 rods so it wasn't like it was used a whole lot on any of the three trips. This rod would pass for a new one easily. I just bought some of the Steez 8 footers so I wanted to part with a couple of my 7'1"s. I promise this is as nice of a rod as you can get in a used rod. There are absolutely no flaws with it whatsoever. It has never had any damage or repairs at all and it is only a few months old and most of the time I've had it, it has been too cold for me to fish. You will not be disappointed in ... morethis rod at all. These are, in my opinion, the most beautiful rods made. Something about the Air Beam reel seat keeps your hands so that when you get a bite you don't have to get set up before setting the hook. Somehow it always has your hands gripping the rod so that no matter how you are holding the rod the instant you feel a bite you can set the hook without fear of losing control of the rod. There is none of that getting prepared and set up before setting the hook, you just feel the bite an no matter how the rod is positioned that reel seat allows you to slam back on the rod with no fear of not being properly positioned. How it does it I am not sure but I have never fished another rod that allows you to set the hook as fast as what these Steez rods do. Plus, the Air Beam reel seat acts almost like a bell. When you get a bite, the reel seat is mostly hollow with graphite flanges running up to the blank and when you get a bite it is almost like a silent bell ringing or a light electric shock letting you know you have a bite. I have been fishing these and had 8 or 10 feet of loose line laying on top of the water when I got a bite and was still able to feel it because of th

This allows for an amazing increase in performance in the casting of this reel. Smooth operation very clean reel. All parts are standard on this steez except all the bearings in the reel were replaced with high end bearings for long lasting performance. One of my favorite reels with the bearings improvement.
