Spence Petros 7'6" Musky casting rod (extra heavy)
It is hard to take a picture of a 7' 6" fishing rod and do it justice. This is a Spence Petros Musky rod that has had little use and looks perfect except for a slight chip in the cork handle. I am 74 and cannot cast those big Musky baits any more. Caught my share tho and am satisfied.

Vintage Shakespeare Musky Wonderrod#1036 Howald Process. 5'7" Item is a vintage Shakespeare Wonderod. On the handle it says: Shakespeare. Made in U. S. A. Patent#2260204. The yellow label says Shakespeare Wonderod, Howald Process. 1036 5'7" EGO. This rod is white with red and black markings. There are 5 eyelets which are all in good condition. The pictures show the movement up to the tip of the rod. This rod was purchased in 1966 by my husband. We believe it was manufactured in 1959. The cork handle is 7 1/2 inches long and then a rubber end on it which is about 1 1/2 inches long. Included also is a red nylon tie bag which is about 44 inches long. Up for your consideration is a vintage antique Fenwick Fenglass heavy duty rod and reel combo. This combo is in excellent condition and show minimal signs of use. The rod is a 2 piece 8' rod for lure size 5/8-1 1/2oz. lure and 10-20 lbs line. The foam handle is in excellent condition and the eyes are all in excellent condition. The reel is a Diawa 7000c spinning reel that is also in excellent condition. The only area that shows wear is on the label of the rods descriptions as seen in the photos. I used this to throw bucktails and jerk baits. It does not have much time on it at all. Maybe a week of fishing. Its in great shape. I have two more that I will be keeping. And do not need an extra. Up for auction is a late 60's- early 70's Heddon 5 1/2' Musky Special heavy weight fiberglass casting rod. Model#6276. This rod still has the original plastic Heddon advertising on the cork handle. On the back side of the plastic sleeve it says"Crafted by Heddon. Area tested by top fisherman, proven action, engineered for dependable service" This is a two piece rod as the butt portion separates from the main section of the rod. The only part of this rod showing any wear is that the cork has turned darker where it is not covered by the plastic sleeve. The rubber butt. Reel seat, ferrule and finish are near perfect. I bought this rod from a gentleman about 10 years ago. He said he always bought 2 of everything. So this one never was used. I am not an expert, but I am guessing it is from the late sixties. It is in allmost perfect condition. The sleeve and rod tube are in very good condition. The photos accurately portray it. I do no t think the rod was e ver used. Here is a very heavy duty 5 foot 6 inch long fishing rod marked'Shakespeare No. SS-170 Medium Action Made in USA EDL' The reel is marked'True Temper 923C' and has lots of leaded line on it. All looks good including the wood handle. Guessing it is what you would use if fishing Musky or Sturgeon. All three eyelets are in good. Solid condition.
