Star Rods Hand crafted USA T 50 LB w/ Aluminum Butt & Aftco Guides Big Game Rod
This is a Star Rods Hand Crafted in the USA offshore trolling rod. It is model T 50 HC and is rated for 50 lb. It has a Stuart Aluminum Butt and Stuart Aluminum Reel Seat. It also has Aftco Roller Guides all the way up totaling 5 roller guides in total. And has an Aftco Roller Tip as well. The rod is in good condition with a very light saltwater rash on the roller guides. The roller tip has a little more saltwater rash than the guides. The aluminum butt has some knicks and scratches from use, and the reel seat has some wear as well. There is a slight scratch that runs along the right side of the rod from the first guide to the third guide and has a small circular piece of flex coat chip just before the third guide. Garcia Conolon rod 5 STAR unused 7' agate Companion light action w/sock & tube
UPDATE: everything will be placed into a shipping box. The logo tube will be protected. I don't know about poles so please don't assume that I have checked anything other than the careful visual inspection. I feel confident that this is the five star due to its agate guides and the five stars on the hard-tube. There is a little missing from the decal and some very light scuffing to one side of the anodized base(photo) but nothing prominent and no indication that this was ever even mounted with a reel or that it rested on its base outside of the sock. 4 star D & S ball arrow and cobalt lightning rod ball,weathervane lightning rod
I have for sale a nice D& S company 4 star ball arrow and cobalt D& S lightning rod ball. Stand is not included. For photo purposes only. Arrow is very nice with no damage. The cobalt ball has one nice collar, the other collar is chipped way down( aluminum caps for ball are included) I believe it was chipped intentionally so that it would fit into the arrow without having to bend the top of the arrow so that it would fit. I have seen some D& S arrows that the frame was been bent by the installer to make room for the ball. The body of the ball is nice with some staining, no cracks or chips. On the top of the ball where it is embossed with the D& S logo it looks like scotch tape was on it, it extends from the collar down about an inch. It does not show up in the pictures. I will leave it up to the new owner to try and remove ... moreit if they desire. I never worried about it as it is not that noticeable. Up for sale here is one of his bass fishing rods: It is an ALL STAR one piece 5' 4 3/4" medium action casting rod. Specs are: SEVEN eyes. Line weight: 10-20 lbs. Lure weight: 1/4 to 5/8 oz. When I measured this rod and saw it was not 5' 6" I was concerned that maybe it had had the tip replaced. I looked very closely and the bindings and the tip look original. Antique Purple Glass Lightning Rod Ball / Moon and Star / Goshen Co.
Being offered is one antique glass lightning rod ball made by the Goshen Lightning Rod Company dating back to the early 1900's. It is amethyst in color with a moon and star pattern and measures approximately 4 1/4 inches across and 5 inches end to end from the collars(openings measure 7/8" inside diameter) There is some light chipping and rough edges on the collars which is quite common on antique lightning balls. Black scorching is visible but overall in great condition for its age. Amethyst in the moon and star pattern is hard to come by. Here is an opportunity to acquire one.
