TWO CUSTOM MADE HI-PER TECH WINDSURF BOARDS with 5 SAILS and other gear
2 custom made hi-per tech boards made by Gary Efferding. The white board is 7'9" and it is in great shape. Has a volume of 55L. A very fast board for high winds. Best for someone under 160 lbs. The blue board is 8'8" Has a volume of 95L. This board has 2 drain holes with screws( see photos) I cannot get the front screw out. This is also a fast board. These boards are almost bullet proof. There are 4 simmer style sails: 3.5 mm. 4.0 mm, 4.5 mm, 5.0 mm. The 3.5 and 4.0 are in great shape-no rips or tears. Just mildew on parts of the sails. The 4.5 needs repair where the battens insert near the mast. The 5.0 needs the white plastic batten holders to be reattached with rivets. See photos. You are bidding on a vintage Fenwick SP784 spinning rod. I assume this is a custom built rod judging by the color of the wraps. This rod is in good condition with a few light scratches. The guides are secure and the wraps are tight. There is some fading of the color in the wraps as seen in the pictures. The cork and the reel seat are in good condition. There is no butt cap as seen in the pictures. The rod measures 6' 6" and has 6 guides plus the tip. The rod has medium to medium light action with a moderate tip and a parabolic bend. Vintage Sabre MH865 honey gold color handcrafted by an understudy of Yo's of Gardena. Built for trolling 60-80 lbs test for albacore. Yellowfin and of course great for jigging for black sea bass and grouper. Six and one half feet in length, roller tip and first guide, 13 inch cork butt and 14 inch cork foregrip. Battle scar of tuna blood on butt, cannot remove without hurting grip, but makes you look like a pro with you step on the boat. Custom filled in diamond wrap between grip and first roller guide.
