I have a original shimano crucial corked version casting rod.it's 7"2 medium/heavy and it's made of Tc4 technology. The cork versions of this rod is highly sought after because shimano left quite a bit to be desired when they went with the newer eva foam grip rods. Just thinning out my collection and this rod is a great all around casting rod to add to your arsenal. I am listing two Shimano trigger casting rods together as a package to save on shipping. Both rods are used. But in excellent condition with no scratches on the rod blank, guides in perfect shape and no gouges or discoloration on the cork. The first is a Crucial Crankbait rod. 7 ft long and rated 10-20 lb line, 3/8 to 1 oz lure weight and moderate-fast action, model# CRC-C70MH. There are ten Fuji Concept Alconite guides including the tip, Fuji exposed blank reel seat, TC4HM IM8 graphite and fiberglass composite construction, hook keeper and rubber butt cap. The crankbait action of this rod made it an ideal lighter weight rod for inshore use and bottom dragging for New Jersey flounder. Although this rod was designed for fresh water use, I found it also excellent in salt water. The second is a Teramar Southeast. 7 ft long and rated 15-25 lb ... moreline, 1/2 to 1-1/2 oz lure weight and moderate-fast action, model# TMC-M70MH. Ten Fuji Concept Hardloy guides including the tip, Fuji trigger reel seat, TC4 IM7 graphite and fiberglass composite construction, hook keeper and rubber butt cap. I used this rod with an Avet SX MC for casting bucktails and spoons for bluefish and stripped bass in New Jersey. Although designed for salt water use, this rod would work very well for down rigger trolling in fresh water and casting where a fast or extra fast action is not desired.
