From my uncle’s estate is this old L. L. Bean fly fishing net in super condition. It comes in a canvas case that is 24” long x 3 ½” wide and has the original made by L. L. Bean Freeport. Me label. The net is also marked L. L. Bean on the frame that swings out to be 12” wide and 16” long. The cotton net that 22” deep and still in usable condition. You can screw one handle with the rubber grip to make it 20” long great for wading or screw on the 20”extension. Great to use in your canoe or kayak. Patagonia River walker fly fishing vest like brand new
This is a gray XL men's fly fishing vest and it is in outstanding condition. No rips or scuff or tears or abrasions. Everything clicks- zips- and moves perfectly. It is polyester but I don't not see a model# on it so I took several photos. It is a really comfortable neck and has pockets everywhere inside and out I was like a well oiled machine out there with this thing very efficient. I used it 3 seasons I believe and it was very practical. This is an antique folding collapsible net made by Richardson. Probably from the 40's. handle attaches and as it screws down it helps keep the net open. There is a set screw on the other end to tighten once you get it open. To hold it in that shape. Comes with original fitted cloth bag. Shows evidence of wear and use. Net is is good condition. Some rust on the net frame. Small marks on the wooden black handle and some corrosion on the chrome part of the handle. Very period to use with bamboo fishing, or as decor. Here's a game for fishermen and anyone who might want to tie a knot and play a game. It teaches basic and complex fishing knots. This game includes 50 knot cards with the knots fully illustrated. Instructions on how to tie them, information on how the knots are used, rules for the game(but this doesn't have to be used as a game- the informational cards are useful by themselves) and tying equipment(cord and 2 wooden dowel like things with metal loops) the box is worn, but the cards and tying equipment do not appear to have been used.
