Here is a vintage. Old, original combination fishing tackle box and seat. It does not have any maker names. The measurements are; folded, 21" by 17" by 6" Open, it's 17" high by 16" by 12" The 13-1/2" by 6" by 4" metal tackle box has a plastic tray inside. Two of the rubber leg tips were missing so I've replaced all 4, the remaining 2 will be included inside the tackle box. This combination item is vintage so it does have some light soiling and scuffs, or scratches. Please look at all 10 of my photos!

Wow. This is a very unusual piece! A must have for the die hard tackle collector. It is a very early brass tackle box believed to be from the 20s but can not be verified. Very good chance this was a one off. 14" long x 3 1/2" diameter. Recently my husband and I inherited some items from his elderly uncle who passed away. This box was among those items. It is a green plastic marble design box marked Plano Plas-Tak. Plano, Illinois. I am guessing it is from the 50's. There are no major defects on the box except for light scratching on the bottom and it needs a good cleaning on the outside and inside. Brass colored locking mechanism works fine. Inside it is full of fishing stuff, old lures, hooks, a bobber, split-shot(whatever that is) and various other items. We really didn't look through it or take anything out of it-just not our cup of tea. Perhaps someone out there would find some use for it. This is a vintage item, and may show signs of wear or use. Inside are 3 divider trays and a deep well. It has 31 divided compartments of various sizes which can be modified as there are 9 dividers which can be removed to make larger compartments. It has been used and it does have dirty spots that I could not wash out and scuffs and scratches as well. It did clean up pretty good for the photos. The hinges and the latch work great as do the trays. To stock the tackle box, I've included some accessories, lures, and soft plastics. Wonderful Vintage Wooden Fishing Tackle Box (Florida Tackle Box)
I have for auction a beautiful vintage wooden tackle box from Florida. It is a true working tackle box and you can tell from the inside that it has carried some tackle. This type of box is often called a Florida tackle box and is made of yellow pine or some other probably native F lorida wood. The wood has a warm golden hew to it and some wonderful patina/discoloration due to age. It is equipped with what appears to be brass hinges. Handle and hasp. These too show some nice soft patina. Has two trays that can be removed from the inside revealing larger storage compartments for reels or other items. Also what I think is really cool is the section of an advertising yard stick screwed into the top inside of the lid that the fisherman would use to check the length of the fish. This is an old piece for the phone numbers for the three locations ... moreare prior to our current 7 digit numbers. For example it lists Miami Shores as 89-2541. Coral Gables as 4-7644 and Hialeah Springs as 88-3444. This is classic Florida folk art! It is a good size box and measure approximately 18&1/2 inches long by 9&1/4 inches wide by 8&3/4 inches tall.
