VINTAGE UMCO 133A TACKLE BOX ALUMINUM 3 TRAYS FISHING GEAR This auction offers an UMCO Corporation Model 133A aluminum tackle box with three trays. In very good condition. It measures 12-1/2" long x 6-1/2" wide x 6" tall. Excluding the handle. The three fold-out trays have plastic inserts. A few of the insert have cracks but still serve the purpose of keeping contents separated. The box has a few small dents and dings. Nothing major. The box has been cleaned, but could use additional cleaning inside and out, if desired. The handle and copper-colored hinges are in good condition. The latch is a little loose and can come open. This might be remedied by tightening or replacing the rivets that hold the latch to the side of the box. The latch could also be secured by drilling a small hole in the top side of the latch and inserting ... morea cotter pin or nail. This is a vintage Umco 204 U tackle box from Watertown. Minnesota. The box functions fine, the trays fully extend open and closed, also has two reel holders in lid. The plastic tray liners have a few melted spots but nothing serious. Has a few marks and scratches here and there but over all I think it's a great fishing box. You are bidding on the awesome vintage UMCO 1000U tackle box that you see pictured. An estate find. This box is in remarkable shape, and appears to have been used little if at all. It was a little dusty from being stored in the garage, but cleaned up pretty well! All clasps work as they should and fit tightly. The bottom section unbuckles to a Styrofoam lined section- white Styrofoam with assorted brown speckles. Overall"closed" measurements are 18"long x 10" wide x 14" tall. This is an Umco 204a tackle box in good condition. It has a unique side storage area that would be perfect for storing your lunch. This box is in pretty good overall shape. I touched it up with a scrubbing pad a bit because it was dirty but didnt get too crazy. Could use some more scrubbing. The thing that sticks out about this box is the trays. They are in really good shape. No worm burns in the plastic. One of the plastic compartments on the top row is cracked. But that's it. The rest are really nice. There are a couple dings in the cover. Perhaps these could be pushed out? It's just aluminum. I didn't want to try anything. Very nice box in good overall shape. Measures about 18.5 by 9.5 inches and stands 8 inches tall. A great old box.
