These are a very heavy duty tip ups and completely usable today but many collectors of quality vintage fishing equipment would cringe at the thought! The wood is thick 3/4" and long at 23" and the width is 3" Wood is heavily coated by the factory and in it's original condition. These are the best built tip up ever. With Heavy Duty Brass line guides that are made to last 100 years or more! Beautiful Collectible item! Still has the old original line when used for ice fishing years ago. Some minor surface rust on bottom of springs but easily cleanable if desired! Great touch as a collectible too! Original owners name is carved into the bottom of these and gives that personal touch.Flags appear to be different and I am not sure if they were replaced or not! Been stored many years! These Tip Ups are EXTREMELY Heavy Duty and made to last! From the heavily varnished solid wood construction to the solid Brass line guide. These tip ups are well designed for fishing convenience. Multiple trip settings on the flag allows you to set your tip up for very light strikes or for the heavy strike selection for those big game fish! Both are in working condition but need cleaned. Ther are small amounts of rust but nothing serious. The 25 th. anniversary model's flag is dirty and somewhat frayed and has a name carved on the bottom. Both are in used condition. They will need new line. The newer one is in good working condition and does not have any problems I can see. The older on has magic marker marks on base and a piece of wood missing on side of base, also a little rusty nothing serious. see pics. They both work well. This is the 35th Anniversary Beaver Dam tip-up with green flag. It is in excellent working condition. As the pictures show. The green anniversary label and the red"Artic Fisherman" label as well as the green flag are all in very good condition. This tip-up doesn't look used very much. There is a bend in the spring(photo 6) and a slight bend in the spinner shaft(photo 8) Very good tip-up for display or for fishing!
