Vintage Ice Auger Drill– Ice Fishing– Spoon Type Blade– Snabb Mora Borren Sweden This item is a Vintage Hand Ice Auger/ Drill for ice fishing– with a shovel type blade that spins and cuts about a 7” diameter hole– made in Sweden by Snabb Mora Borren. This is in very good condition as shown in the pictures. It should cut a hole in 3 foot thick ice based on my measurements. This measures about 34” by 13” when collapsed for carrying and about 56 1/2” long when screwed together for use. Also has the original leather blade protector which needs to be re-stitched(has screws holding it together now and is useable as is) and has the original leather wrist strap. Up for bid is a Mora by Strikemaster MD-8 hand auger for ice fishing. This auger appears to have seen very little if any use. The auger comes in the original box with original paperwork& 1 extra blade. The catalogs in the box are dated 1994. The blades has very light surface rust from storage but do not appear to have any knicks or flat spots. The edges of the auger have some spots with paint missing- I am guessing from storage& shipping. Many parts of the auger edge still have paint which to me would mean the auger has seen very little use. The auger will be shipped in it's orignal box USPS at a discounted flat rate of 9.95. This vintage 1982 Mora Ice Auger comes with a drill blade protector and strap. It easily breaks down into two 29" pieces; total length 58" It has the usual scuffs. Up for auction is my Dad's original 1950's purchase of the Original"Eminent" 6" cutter. Made in Sweden. This piece is in superb condition as can be seen by the pictures. It is complete with the original blade protector. The handles I believe are made of bake lite material. The pictures show the unit in its' take down or travel position. All the threads for assembly are perfect and it goes together and comes apart easily. The only negative other than some original paint wear is a small chip out of the middle handle. This is about as nice a specimen as you will find.
