HUGE LOT OF ST. CROIX/GUIDELINE REACTION ROD SECTIONS! LOTS OF COMPLETE PIECES AND HIGH END COMPONENTS. Up for auction is a nice lot of St. Croix/Guideline Reaction rod sections purchased directly from the St. Croix factory in Park Falls. WI. These pieces were all turned into St. Croix for warranty and were all rejected for some reason. All of these rod sections are intact and can be used to fashion rods or stripped of the components. The Guideline Reaction series was built for the overseas company Guideline by St. Croix. These sections were completed and found to have a flaw during inspection. The Guideline Reaction series included fly, switch, and Spey models and retailed from $600 to $1200. These rods sported REC Recoil snake guides and Batson ALPS stripper guides and reel seats. There are a few pieces that fit together. The 2 tip sections ... morefrom a 4 piece spey and the 3 tip pieces from a 9 foot fly rod. There is also a clean butt section that is for a 9 foot fly rod, but it does not fit the 3 matching pieces. With a little work you could fashion a spigot ferrule to fit and have a very nice rod! 9 ft 5 wt custom built GLASS fly Rod
Let me say this.if you are looking for a cheap glass fly rod. This ISN'T it!If, however, you are looking for a world class fly rod, this IS it. The blank is made by the now defunct Farmacon. They had a unique process for making glass blanks, that were exceedingly strong but lighter than other glass blanks with a lively feel. Most glass fly rods have sort of a dead feel to them, not this one! I have been a custom rod builder for about 30 years, and I literally have rods all over the world. This is a rod that I have fished for about 7 years. I bought a large amount of Farrmacon blanks and my customers just rave about them. This has one stripping guide in the bottom section, the next one is a double foot classic fly guide, the rest are all single foot. This keeps as much weight off the blank as possible. I am selling my T&T 1409-3 spey rod. I have had this rod for about 5 years and it is an absolute gem to cast. I recently replaced it with the newer model by T&T as I am a big fan of their two-handed rods. I figured I didn't need two 14' 9 weight rods. I have priced this to sell. For sale is a small collection of three vintage New Old Stock Fenwick Fresh Water Spinning Rod Blanks. The blanks are in excellent condition and include the following: SP-812F– Light to Medium Weight– 42” in length SPF-783F– Fenglass– Light to Medium Weight– 40” in length SP-741F– Light Weight– 37” in length. The Fenglass blank dates to the late 1970s when this technology was introduced at Fenwick. I think the other two blanks are earlier than this although they are not identified as Feralite blanks. It is getting harder and harder to find old Fenwick blanks and these three represent beautiful examples of these. High quality rods. Assortment of Ice Fishing Rod Blanks,Handles,Thread and Guides
Listed is an assortment of ice fishing rod making items I got with other things at auction.Some are started and have handles on. The rest are blanks,there are many guides,some tips,thread,hot glue and other items as pictured.there are 3 black heavier fiberglass blanks and 6 real ultra light with orange tips 2 have handles glued on already,there are some small tips for these in the mix.Thought someone may be able to use these to make a few rods or maybe for parts.
